i know all about the cam phaser issues in my 3.5l F150. I’ve had a few gens of the 2.3l and in my experience, they’re tanks. Cast block can withstand lots of power, as others have said, I took a less is more approach. Happy with my 2.3l
I just wish I could get a good exhaust lol
Amplifier Install Question
Who here has run one? I currently have a monoblock amplifier run to a single subwoofer. Has anyone run into issues with the amp going on/off after the Bronco has been locked?
Context: I'm running a Kicker KISLOC2 RCA converter with a built-in 9V remote wire. I'm not...
I ended up going with the Gear Shade because I heard that the bestop one had issues with sag on YouTube and doesn't flap around as much. It was quite easy to install and it's not super heavy, so I don't forsee there being any issues. The material is heavy duty.
Yeah I should’ve put those details lol
Yes stays in place, no interference with soft top operation.
I’m 6’3 and even with this installed I have plenty of headroom.
Got my Gear Shade in for my 4-door Bronco soft-top. Took me all and all about 40 minutes to install, of which half of that was just reading the directions and finding the right torx bits in my mess of a tool box. Very easy to install, the mesh is very heavy duty and instructions were clear...
Forscan will work on Intel based Macs. If you have a newer Mac (M1 chip) this is built off of ARM architecture and it won't work. You probably were forced to use Windows 11 as there is no supported ARM-based Windows 10/7 build. You can get the software to install but once installed, you double...
BUMP
bumping this thread and putting my experience. I recently wired in a amp/sub and used a Kicker KISLOC2 line out-converter. The KISLOC2 specifically has a built in remote wire which sends a 12v signal to the amp to turn on.
it’s a little wonky… starting to think this 45 minute shutdown is...
i’m about to thousand miles in on the new tires, I have zero complaints. Of course it is a new tire but I’ve had plenty of other tires and he’s ride very nice. No vibration, handles into the corners as expected and they look nice on the bronco. You will love them
yes! And love them! I went back-and-forth with whether to get them or not and truthfully I won’t be climbing gnarly rocks with this ride. I will be using it to get to work and back 80% of the time and then go on trails and in the desert and the beach the other 20%. So having rock rails wasn’t...
I have Badlands with optioned 4.27 gears and locker. Love it! That's what sold me to get it especially knowing I was going to go 35's.
I did have to pay over MSRP but I wanted (semi needed) a new vehicle and was ok with it considering I won't be getting rid of it.
