I learned to off-road at Tellicoā¦was in awe what my mostly stock Wrangler could do. What great memories there. Sounds like we all agree that the trails are getting overcrowded. I like that people are concerned about preserving these for our use in the future and our kids. The more we can be...
Agree with others, itās an awesome look and so true to the original! Seats are really niceā¦did you have to modify the dash to get the brown leather trim or is that a factory one Iām not aware of?
might also want to give a link to the vestā¦feels like it should be part of the build. š
Agree it would be nice. Mine has the feature to unlock by putting your hand into one of the handles and also lock by pushing the small button on the handle. That combination at least lets you keep the key in your pocket all the time (or purse or backpack). Having the extra security when you...
I took my rings off and had Enigma Coatings outside of Austin, TX powder coat them for a very reasonable price. About a year and several off-road trips later, they still look very good. A few small scratches as expected.
No trouble identifying and connecting about 90% of the time. It does lose connection regularly, especially on trips over 30 mins. Now when I plan a long road trip, I delete from the phone list and use direct cable with USB-C and that is much more reliable.
We are already being tracked by dozens of apps, devices so the privacy issue is going to have to be solved in a much larger way. Agree that we all need to push back on companies that do a poor job of designing for security.
Thatās some of the points. The other is it would likely save states money. Iām not a big fan here either, but all the people yelling about high taxes might want to look into where the money goes and how to make the spending more efficient like this example (with real proposals, not just yelling).
I wasnāt removing the corner pieceā¦this occurred during the normal process of removing the entire window (after the sides) by unclipping and sliding out. However, you need to pull the corner from its top and bottom attachment slightly before sliding. Noticed others having this same issue here...
While taking the windows out recently, one of the plastic T-shaped tabs broke, which attaches the fabric portion of the rear window to the plastic corner part (I think there are four per corner). Once this occurred a car-wash and wind put pressure on the seam and two more broke and it was a...
I get this scenario quite often as well. The rear passenger window occurs more often than the others. Often, its just roll down and back up, other times I must do the window āretrainā steps. I also get windows that roll up part way (even though the auto setting should go up all the way).
Iām in betweenā¦after a day out (see my profile pic) I had a layer of dust inside AND the outside covered with mud. Step 1 was to vacuum and wipe down the seats, dash and upper surfaces with spray bottle of water for first pass. Step 2 was to use a hose on the washout floors, but with some...
I have the same issue as well, with the ādrop it off for three days to diagnoseā response. Iāll update with what happens. One tab initially broke, but wind must have caught it and broke more.
Definitelyā¦even with all the planning and good work they did preparing for launch, it goes to show how important the details are. I was patient since I understood it was the first year of production, but they should have these things worked out by now. The flip side of this, however, is that...
I have a ā22 Badlands SAS manual and absolutely LOVE it. Itās shifts smooth and solid, feels a bit like driving rental cars in Europe with a short throw for a truck. First gear can be a bit sluggish unless you rev a little or are smooth with the clutch. Once the turbos get some boost, that...
Not the same symptoms, but when my ā22 Badlands, manual, SAS Lux first arrived, it had over a dozen different electronic issues, anything in the steering wheel and GOAT controls. In my case it was a loose connector to one of the main processors and was an easy dealer fix. It would start and run...
That looks amazing! Makes me wonder if Ford will change the OEM fenders similar to this style at some point or keep the aftermarket healthy. Great choice of color combination.
I have the IAG steps as well and recommend them. The most useful mod has been the ARB twin compressor on-board with the under hood brace. I bought a two-tire Milton 550 inflator that you can set to desired PSI and some quick deflators from iCheck. That combo has been really nice on the trail...
1983 Jeep CJ-7. I really loved it, but the Bronco gives me all the same fun with a lot more practical and off-road use (and still have the manual transmission I wanted).
