  1. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

We have had several X-Terras. Very capable and a good value.
  2. Fleet Broncos Spotted

Sorry for your job loss. Hope it turns around for you. My business would love to have 4-door base Broncos as work vehicles but it is preposterous proposition, so we buy Nissan Frontiers instead and put caps on them. Ford's loss. It appears my personal Bronco will arrive this Friday. It...
  3. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

Nice. My other car is a M5. Have not cancelled Bronco. Assume I will sell rather than let it go back to dealer.
  4. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

My Pangea Green to be delivered in 4 weeks. 4 months total wait not 4 years. X-Dynamic SE 90. 19" wheels and off-road tires - would have liked the 18" wheels, but not an option. Not sure I am up for brake mods to go to a smaller wheel. Does that alter insurance? Affect warranty?

And the warrantee on the lights will pass before you get the Bronco!

What I hate more than the delay is the long-con: Your bronco Is just around the corner.. I would much rather know that I will not get a bronco for 2 years than spend those 2 years expecting it any time.

Ford’s lack of transparency about the delay is far more irksome that the delay. No one expects Ford to tell them when their Bronco will be delivered. However, Ford could say: “Based on current X, Y, Z constraints we anticipate building N vehicles/month, with a priority for vehicles without A, B...
  8. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

Mine either, but as you said, it is not a Bronco. No having a Bronco makes me sad. But not having a Defender either makes me even sadder.
  9. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

Mid-June 21 Badlands, Sq, Lux, 2 dr, 2.7 l And I will still have it on order as I drive a Defender, and when/if the Bronco ever comes in, If I want, I can keep either, neither, or both. It makes me a lot happier than Zero transparency on getting a Bronco and an empty garage for 2 years.
  10. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

Or a bumper sticker that says: I would rather live driving a Defender than die waiting for a Bronco.
  11. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

A consideration for older Bronco buyers: ceteris paribus, how long you continue to drive in the future reflects on purchase price. Older drivers are more likely to die or quit drive. If you assume (1) your driving-life expectancy is 15 years or less, (2) you drive 10,300 mi/year (FHWA estimate...
