On the trucks infotainment system there is a setting for insurance data and the default is off. But check to make sure you did not turn it on by accident.
With every trip recorded and so many data leak events it would be best to turn this thing off. It is like insurance, you most likely will...
Moving things over from the China market Bronco would not be a surprise. But it may take another year to get rolled out here.
Everyone else keeps getting the new ranger before we do.
Ya the advanced 4wd is too advanced for it's own good.
There are posts of where the advanced 4wd stops working partway though a trail so you only have 2wd but then randomly starts working when on the pavement.
Simple but reliable would be my choice.
Not a scientific test but I've looked up a bunch of posts here on 6g and all the ones that had the 4wd not available error and then lost 4wd were with the 4 wheel auto transfer case.
I think this is the best answer to mount a tablet. Does not block your view. Holds a tablet and phone. The hand hold should be plenty strong. looks like it has a rail mount to add even more.
Thank you for sharing this setup.
The loss of a cup holder is the only downfall. I only go off roading about once a month, I have the tablet holder in place for only that time. On a older off road vehical I used in the past I had a mount bolted in place, but I am not going so often now. I would like to see what you come up with.
I have a tablet holder that fits in a cup holder. So the tablet is next to the shift lever. So it is not in line of sight, it works for me.
Something kind of like this.

Yes, Oates never saw the light of day. I wonder what it would have been?

The heritage did come out.
Something is making interference. But it could be anything, electronics are everywhere and everything has a switching power supply. It could even be someone's LED porch light gone bad.
The change in tire size from what it came with is throwing the computer off. There is a chance the first owner had the computer adjusted for the bigger tires they put on but I would guess not.
Is it a V6 or a 4 cylinder?
I would think a new engine would be a reason to keep the vehicle. You are back to 0 miles like it was new for the engine.
But maybe they think it is a sign there may be other problems.
Unless you outed your self they would never know on the GMRS, because it uses the FRS channels you could be using an frs radio and no license needed. And from just hearing people talk on a radio you cant tell if it is FRS or GMRS.
The GMRS license covers your family, so one license and many...
Around here GMRS is used by most of the off road people.
Also GMRS can talk to an FRS radio and and FRS radio can talk to a GMRS radio. No license needed for FRS. FRS does have a lower max transmit power then GMRS.
The Ability to talk between FRS and GMRS is very handy if you are in a group...
If it's being on a budget you can get a low-cost decent winch from harbor freight. They had a 12k winch on sale a few weeks ago.
I have gone off roading with winches and with out. Also as a group and just with one truck.
Alone I stick to easier trails.
The times I have been stuck it was due...
