After about 15 minutes of searching the interwebs I’m now convinced it’s related to this:

Very similar situation here. HLE built 7/19 and can’t seem to get any information as to why it hasn’t shipped. My dealer, who normally seems to be on top of it, has not had any intel of value whatsoever. Is definitely starting to seem like something is off.
I’ve now had 3 license plates with a play on Air Force 1. My passion is skiing powder and when I was younger (before kids) I’d drive to wherever it was getting snow within about 12 hours, hence the Powder1. Corporate job moved me around a ton so I had this in WA, NM and CO
.
I had a tundra that had some electrical quirks that the dealer could never fix. Spent a lot of time and money messing with it and ultimately it never worked as it should. With how terrible the dealer service experience is these days I’d personally assume there’s going to be more headaches down...
You’ll surely be able to drive it for a year and sell it for what you paid or some nominal profit If that is what you are asking. Maybe not an investment per se but there’s plenty of other vehicles out there that will depreciate way faster and be way less fun to drive

Has anyone’s dealer told them they have a limited edition in production or one that is expected to be in the immediate term? Just curious if there’s a known build week or weeks for the HLEs. Mine told me it’d be built in May and likely not delivered until June but that was a couple weeks ago...
Sold my 2022.5 4DR WT 3.0 back to dealer two weeks ago with 8k miles for $5k more than I paid. It did have some Method Wheels and a lockable cargo box in the back though. Figure with registration fees and whatnot I ended losing about $3k (or paying $375 p/m to drive the shit out of a new bronco)
Am I crazy for believing that I’m getting one that is scheduled for production in May with no ADM? I’ve been assured I am, have signed nothing, and all I have is a text from sales manager with order sheet saying it’s mine aka pre sold to me. Have bought an explorer, 4dr wildtrak and an f250...
