I had squeaking on my ARB skids where a supplied nutplate sits in a frame crossmember. I sprayed some white lithium grease and that has solved my issue. I'd give that a shot on any metal on metal areas that are squeaking.
Selling the front skid/bash plate that came with my Body Armor 4x4 front bumper. I didn't need it as I already have ARB skids plates.
Skid plate is 0.125" thick steel, mounts using factory hardware/mounts, and has cutouts to accommodate whatever stock bumper comes with the lower tow hooks...
What did you do to bend yours up under the front of the bumper?
I had the same setup (mod bumper + ARB skids) and actually thought it looked good with it the way it was. Unless your looking at it standing 5 feet away, the fitment didn't stand out to me. Now that I have my new bumper, there...
OEM Rear Steel Bumper for sale. Removed at about 10k miles. In great condition. Only visible defects are light wear marks from where my 37" spare slightly rubbed the plastic.
Bumper has the sensor mounts, but does not come with sensors or license plate light. All hardware included.
Not sure...
OEM Modular Bumper for sale. Removed at about 10k miles. In great condition. Only visible defects are a nick in the bumper from the factory (prior to paint) near the right (passenger) most sensor and two marks on the lower end from my ARB skid plates. Looks to be mostly paint transfer from...
Awesome that the LCAs fit! I'd like to see someone make longer UCAs that fit the current mounts and will match up with the Raptor LCAs so it is completely bolt-on. Doable?
Installed Body Armor 4x4 front and rear bumpers along with some fog lights and rear flood lights! Also picked up a new factory switch for the fog lights so I don't waste one of the aux switches.
I'm really happy with it and I'll be picking up a winch in the next couple of months to complete...
LOL, I'm about to put my mod bumper up for sale. Thanks for the feedback!
Hoping to make the bumper work with my ARB skid plate instead of what they provide. Front edge of the ARB is a little higher and further forward than the stock skid. Any thoughts on how that might work based on your install?
If you have Sasquatch wheels, 0.75" gives you the best chance. Studs just clear the pockets on the back side of the wheels, so you don't need to cut them down.
I imagine 1.25" will cause some issues with the back-side of the front fender, but the skinnier 37s will help your case. That's on the street. You will likely have a lot of rubbing offroad. You really need a lift. Eibach coilovers did the trick for me.
