Awesome, best of luck on your delivery! This was my list, just things I picked from a few of the checklists floating around this forum:
Roll all windows up at once
Fluids full
Soft top frame/seal alignment
Paint bubbles/defects
Missing paint in door jambs/door brackets
Bumpers straight and...
It does, but still glad it’s my only issue so far.
Would be more of a problem if I had to commute with it, but this is the closest thing to a commute the Bronco will see:
Some light break in before a fun first weekend!
Can’t tell anything was done to your hood at all from those, looks great 👍
Brought the Badlands home yesterday! Did a fairly thorough paint check before signing everything at the dealer and it all looks great. Ran through the rest of my list of items to check when I got it home and everything checked out.
One issue, so far: the wind noise at the A pillar/windshield...
Just got the same email, with the same dates.
The worst part was the subject line of "Your 2022 Bronco Badlands Order" being the same one they've only used for the past emails notifying of change in status (Ordered -> In production -> Built), so I thought for sure it was finally the email...
@Blue22Bronco did you have the tow package on your order?
Was starting to think that was part of my issue, despite it not being mentioned as why it has been on hold, and was kind of kicking myself for adding it instead of putting on a hitch myself after delivery.
Yeah, we're waiting on shipment to the same dealership lol the one with the owner's two Ford GTs parked up front :D
Despite this whole production mess from Ford, they've been great at least... this is my second vehicle from them this year, and they took care of every little issue I had with...
Same here, same new window. I think at this point they just bump it back another week every time the window passes and it’s pretty much meaningless.
I have a hard time understanding why my “built” Bronco has been awaiting shipment to my dealer 9 miles away from the plant for the last two weeks...
No problem, hopefully others can chime in if I'm wrong about anything, but that's my understanding of how this all works.
Not sure - allocation isn't really public info. My dealer was able to show me how much allocation they have and where my order would stand, along with what options have been...
Sorry! It's a shame that dealers will take people's orders knowing damn well that they don't have allocation. I ordered from one of the largest dealerships and got a scheduled build week less than a month after placing my order. Dealership allocation is one of the main reasons for people having...
Sounds like you actually ordered yours on 12/21. Reservations aren't really a thing you can do anymore, that was just how people got in the line (lol) before order banks were opened for 2021MY.
You should be able to get an order sheet from the dealer you're working with, with all of your...
Similar here; my dealer and I are both 9 miles away from MAP, Built and Awaiting Shipment since 6/12, and the last day of the estimate in my Built email is tomorrow. Doubtful it’ll come in by then…
I'd probably only sell right after delivery if I could get $8k take-home profit, but that would require, what? Sales tax and fees on the original purchase, $5.3k in capital gains tax... $14.5k over what I paid? Bet it'd be hard to find someone paying that for a Badlands, especially not dealers...
Wife just got a 17MPG Explorer ST, and I'll be taking delivery of my 17MPG Badlands (hopefully) soon. Gas prices are not going to change what I do or do not enjoy driving every day, and are not a big impact on overall finances, so they have very little impact on my choice of vehicle.
I would...
