That's why I bought the extended receiver versus using an extended hitch insert. It drags on some approaches/departures...but I made a skid plate insert to resolve.
I'm waiting on my switch to come in...been on order over a week. It's definitely a warranty item. I brought the paperwork from the beginning of this post and they didn't even hesitate.
I think that's what just happened to me today! We went trail riding today. Hit a few bogs, but nothing even remotely serious, as mud would go, got home, washed all my under-carriage with my pressure washer. Let it sit for probably an hour. Took off to eat dinner, got probably 15mi from the house...
Our's is holding up pretty good. I made the mistake of spraying my spare down with a "tire wet" product prior to putting it on...and it bled through...in the tread pattern. 😆
We live close to San Antonio and just got back from a 2600 mile trip to Utah and back in our 2dr Badlands. Good on and off-road manners. Decent mileage for being a brick and PLENTY comfortable!

Strange thing...we are road tripping right now in our 2DR Badland w/2.7 auto. When heading north out of the hill country of Texas, couldn't get but 16-18mpg...until we starting getting into some altitude! Once we made it to about Clovis, NM. The rest of the way into Utah, we have been averaging...
I'm late to this thread for sure. But unless any of the "void your warranty" folks have actually been denied service/warranty work...well, you know the old saying about opinions. I have been down this road with 2 diesels over "plug and play" tuners. One of the tuners ABSOLUTELY changed the...
I'm sorry, but you proved everyone's point on this entire thread with that flow chart. "Enabling" a module that already exists within a system, is a far cry from "modifying OEM calibration". The "OEM Calibration" already exists within that vehicle's (VIN) computer. No one has altered or...
