Sorry I didn't read every single post but most of the part numbers I see are being referred to as d-rings. Has anyone seen the below? My 22 Badlands only has 1100 miles on it. I haven't noticed any noise but I'm glad to see what appears to be an actual fix before I take mine in when the noise...
Looks like gen 6 is going to outsell each previous gen by thy end of this year. Currently gen 3 is the number 1 seller with 328k. Mainly due to it being the longest lasting full size gen with 7 model years. Gen 6 will surpass those sales in less than half the time.
Another thing I noticed is the part number for the 5th and 6th Gear synchronizer rings in the TSB is MU7Z-7107-C. The C indicates third revision. Same part number but with the suffix A and B do exist as well. All three parts are different msrp. So it appears the parts may be updated. I'm looking...
Edit. The transmission does not have a pump so there goes this theory. I still feel like lack of lubrication to that area due to thicker oil in low temps could be a problem.
I've had my 7-speed for about 6 weeks. It only has 309 miles and no noise yet. I was thinking about what might actually...
I've had my 7-speed for about 6 weeks. It only has 309 miles and no noise yet. I was thinking about what might actually be causing this. Does anyone know if this transmission has a fluid pump? ZF Transmissions do. Since this noise seems to be extremely dependent upon temperature I'm thinking the...
I just picked up my 2 door Badlands 7 speed. My wife and I both love manual transmissions. She's currently driving a 14 Explorer. She wants a manual transmission SUV, slim pickens! Once the Bronco craziness dies down and they are on lots for MSRP or less, which may never happen, she's planning...
It should be but it's not and never has been. If you option a manual Sasquatch you have to pay for an automatic transmission that you aren't getting. It's ridiculous but that's the way it has always been!
You're not missing anything. That is correct. If you get a manual Sasquatch you still have to pay for an automatic transmission that you aren't getting. It's always been like that. Well you couldn't build that configuration in 2021. But when it was added to build and price for 2022 it was like...
After watching the McArthur Ford live stream, things don't seem quite as bad. The percentage over capacity for the 3 sins isn't a lot. I think a lot of people will take the $2500 and allow those that won't budge to still have a good chance for scheduling. I'm probably just naive. A Badlands...
The no guarantee on price protection sounds a little odd to me. If that's the case then why do they have a chart to figure out the amount and a certificate number for your dealer to redeem it?
I agree. High package still has the 12 inch screen and 360 camera. And costs $2200 less.
I wonder what part of the Lux package is causing the issue? I would automatically think the 12-in screen but obviously that's not it since the high package is okay.
Losing your price protection and canceling your order is effectively the same thing. Remember you have to reorder every model year. So there will be no difference between your 2024 reorder and someone else's brand new 2024 order. I guess you could still think they will build yours first due to...
They also deleted that video. They did say hardtops were fairly available but they did not say lux package was. They suggested to remove that. But the video I'm referring to was from just a couple days ago. If you saw one a few weeks ago there may have been different information there.
