  1. Locking axles recommendations?

I sympathize with your situation. About 15 years ago I dropped a lot of coin on a Jeep TJ regearing, adding ARB air lockers, upgraded shafts, compressor, etc. and it cost many thousands, as the previous posts accurately suggest it would also cost you. But my rig was specifically built for rock...
  2. Inner fender liners

My own opinion is that plastic is quieter, lighter, and won't rust. Not sure that powder coated steel is any easier to clean off than plastic. If you are often getting sticky mud in your wheel wells you might consider pre-treating the area with Fluid Film, Surface Shield, or a similar product...
  3. TopLift Pros OCTOBER GIVEAWAY - WIN A $1,000 TOPLIFT PROS GIFT CARD

2 door Badlands. I could really use this!
  4. How to better secure rear rubber floor mat?

Forget traditional Velcro and get some 3M Dual Lock. Stuff is great. https://www.amazon.com/3M-Reclosable-Fastener-SJ3560-Clear/dp/B00JHKTDMA/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=16ZZPD7YNFDTR&keywords=3m+dual+lock&qid=1693998594&sprefix=3m+dual%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-5
  5. Cleaning Conundrum!

It's hard to respond constructively in a thread like this because the OP hasn't stated clearly what work he is personally willing and able to perform to maintain his vehicle. There are many good products and practices that will achieve the OP's goal (many mentioned here), but are you willing to...
  6. SC property tax

SC resident here. Very confusing down here for sure. I bought my Bronco out of state the last week of January 2023 for an out the door (taxable) amount of about 46,000 even. I happen to have my check book and tax docs in front of me, so maybe this will help approximate (though I'm in a...
  7. Problems with K02s?

I generally like BFG KO2s and hadn't previously heard of any common balancing issues. THAT SAID, I have the OEM KO2s on my Badlands and 3 of the 4 have a shocking number of wheel weights. Like 6-7 ounces of total weights on a single wheel. I counted about 25-27 quarter oz. weights on this...
  8. Advice? Trying to sell my Wrangler but .....

You have a July 2020 reservation. The used car market was still fairly normal at that time, and I suspect you reserved a Bronco because you wanted a Bronco and not because you had an outsized expectation of your Jeep's residual value. Comparing the sale or trade value of your Jeep today to some...
  9. Badlands at golden hour

If you mean 582 I'd think that would work well.
  10. Badlands at golden hour

I wouldn't recommend using Cerakote wipes unless you want it to be shinier than new, which is the likely end result. I also wouldn't recommend using Solution Finish; it streaks somewhat and is overkill (also messy to use). I have used both of these products (recently in the case of Cerakote)...
  11. Hood insulation

Same here. 5 minute install. Not noticeably quieter, but improves the appearance and prevents dirt and grime from getting in that complicated honeycomb structure.
  12. How much should I sell my Cyber Orange for?

Strongly suggest you punch in your vehicle at Carvana, Vroom, and CarMax to get offers. You might actually find that Carvana will be similar to a private sale price. Regardless it should give you a good range.
  13. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

I wanted something I could comfortably drive at highway speeds without it wandering all over the road, without the bump steer, and without the overall vague steering of a Wrangler. I wheeled the heck out of a lifted '97 TJ for years, but it was a trailer queen. I bought a "nice" JK (2014...
  14. Car wash kits?

Solid advice and recommendations here, though I haven't tried all the products mentioned. Really, any quality, name brand pH neutral car shampoo should produce good results using a two bucket method and soft microfiber mitts or towels. My #1 piece of advice is to get a layer (or layers) of...
  15. Plugging a tire - anything I should know?

    Shouldn't be any different.
  16. 2.3 drain plug size?

I have a 2022MY with the 2.3 and this is what I fitted to mine a few months ago.

  18. Broncover vs RainGear Trail Cover

No experience with the Broncover, but I had a Rain Gear Trail cover for several years on my Jeep TJ and it was fantastic. They don't guarantee 100% waterproof due to the stitching, but it was 100% waterproof as far I could ever tell. It was the only cover (besides bikini top) that I used from...
  19. My solution for a CO2 tank in a 2 door.

An underappreciated benefit of a CO2 tank is the ability to power pneumatic tools. It's great to bust out the impact wrench to change a tire, etc. On the trail. You can run 90 PSI no problem.
