I was just about to make this same sort of post. I need to find a pair that can be scuffed up. I have a project I’m working on. So I don’t need a perfect set. If you find a pair, I may be interested in taking your messed up set off your hands.
Check the bolts that hold the door to the hinge. If they aren’t tight, it’s designed to make a noise so you know the door isn’t secured. The door may not be seated all the way onto the hinge.
Saw another thread talking about doing a forscan update to make the LED taillights replace the base taillights. Anyone know how or where that setting is located. Didn’t see it on the spreadsheet.
Thanks in advance.
If you can add gearing to a Bronco without Sasquatch, does this mean you have to first buy a Bronco and then they add the “KOH edition” pkg to whatever Bronco you’ve purchased? So in the end it’s a $165k+ Bronco? There’s no way. Right?
@RealTruck is pretty awesome. I had some damage to my truck from a storm. Knowing I had a road trip within a couple weeks, I was concerned I wouldn’t get the tonneau cover I needed in time. As a B6G member, I reached out and placed my order with Amber. Had a new cover for my truck bed within...
You can buy takeoff wheels and tires and add a simple lift for around $2k. You can then sell your original wheels and tires to recoup some of the cost.
Sasquatch package offers more than the looks. So if you just want the looks, save yourself the money and do it after the fact.
As a side note...
Hello. I’m looking for one of the tie down covers that goes over the bolts on the floor of the rear cargo area. I looked down one day and it was gone. No clue where it went. If anyone has one laying around with the tabs intact, I’d be happy to take it off your hands. I’m thinking some people may...
I have a 2013 3.5L Ecoboost F150 with 165k miles. My phasers have been rattling on startup since pretty close to day one. It only rattles after it’s been sitting for at least a full day. Sometimes it has to sit even longer. The dealership for years would just say they couldn’t replicate it and...
Looks amazing. I’ll have to check that out sometime.
Went down to Anza-Boreggo area a couple weeks ago. Did Sanstone Canyon. It was cool to see, but not worth the hours of driving and 115 degree temps. This weekend we may hit up one of the trails up near Big Bear.
Reading about trail closures...
Wow. That’s some great info. I’m in OC and willing to drive about 2hrs to get to the trails. Looks like I now have a great list to start investigating and eventually exploring. B6G forum coming through again.
Thank you @7sKnuckledragger and @rblock50.
Hi. I’m looking for a moderate off-road trail in SoCal. Anyone have a good recommendation? Not looking to do any rock crawling or hardcore trails. Just trails that are good for a family outing but more than a dirt road. I’ll also have a lifted Crosstrek traveling with me.
Thank you in advance...
If you can find it, that would be great to see the info. If not, no big deal. Not sure I’ll pull the trigger on this mod before I do some others. But it sure would be nice to have the bigger screen and somehow add the front camera.
I’ve said it a thousand times now. Should have bought the Badlands.
