    I replaced all of the B&O speakers: Hertz 4" in the dash, some old Blaupunkt 6.5" in the kick panels, Infiniti 4" in the rear pods. That alone made a substantial difference in sound quality. Just added a 10" powered subwoofer from Kicker to complete the upgrade. Didn't touch Forscan. System...

    Hoel Wiring makes harnesses that are compatible with the Ford connections. I used them when the Metra harnesses (which is what Crutchfield supplies) were out of stock.

    I installed two of the 4" Hertz DCX 100's in the dash as well. 4" Infinity's in the rear pods. Love it. I have not replaced the center dash speaker. I would be interested in your 4" JL or a single Hertz 4".

  10. Do you need tailgate reinforcement for 35" spare?

    I highly recommend it. My 35" covered up the rear brake light, but the rough country tire mount extends the light so it can be seen above the 35" spare tire.

    Thanks. Were you able to order just one of the Polk speakers for the center, or do you have one left over? Did the new speakers require any special connections or mounting brackets, or were they plug-n-play? (Sorry, I'm trying to determine if I can do this myself without missing something)

    Did you have an 4" speaker since you replaced an odd number (5): 2 fronts, 2 rear pods, 1 center? Which 4" speakers did you use?

    Same here. Started yesterday. Navigation works, but no remote start of App connection.

    Same! Got the same message yesterday, although the message stopped appearing on startup. I can't get to the menu to turn the modem off. Maps work, but no remote start.
