This is what I'm noticing too. I software update that stopped the air coming out of the pillars would be the perfect fix.
I just called my dealership to schedule a time for them to look at this for me and they said they would need my car in the shop for 5-7 days. How crazy is that?!? @Ford...
Can you point me in the direction of the "speedo recalibration, panic button, seatbelt minder, auto start stop" instructions?
I tried searching the forum and all i could find was your comment.
Thanks!!
I offered one of the Broncos to Bronco6g members for Sticker Price of $56k. I had price protection so I would have made $2k which would have paid for my new tires. I think that is a fair trade.
The problem is that anyone who wants to buy my Bronco would have to meet me at the dealership with...
I went on Carvana and a few other sites and all of the offers I got were around MSRP so I wasn't going to try to buy one and then trade it in.
I expected the second Bronco (the one I ordered from the second dealership in February) to arrive first but I got a call out of the blue from the first...
That is a sweet Bronco!!!! If you got yours yesterday, I'm hoping I'm right behind you. It's a 4.5 hour drive from SLC to Boise but in Ford time, who knows how long that might take.
Got my baby pic mid-day yesterday. What a cutie.
Also, spoke with my Sales Rep and he told me that the location of my Bronco is still outside of Chicago, heading toward SLC. It's been that way for almost a week, he also told me that the system updates on Thursday so he will know for sure...
It says that it has been delivered in Gibson, Indiana. One step closer...
EDIT: I just checked a map and it seems like a strange route to get to SLC. I thought the train was outside of Chicago last Friday........
I think our Broncos are on the same train, did you happen to get the rail car #?
I want to call to check the status but my sales rep said he didn't have the car number.
I would love to let someone on the bronco forum buy one of these Broncos at sticker price. Plus maybe a set of 35" K02 tires for my troubles? I don't know if that would get me in trouble with the dealers so this is 100% hypothetical.
I have been following my build week spreadsheet and it doesn't feel good to know that there are a lot of people that have been waiting a lot longer than I have.
HBTFD had a great idea. Buy one and then trade it in over the MSRP. I won't make as much money but I'll never actually have two payments at the same time. Still risky, but I'll just have to make sure the second dealership will give me $3-5k over MSRP, then it would be worth the risk.
