For sound measuring, I use the NIOSH Sound Level Meter app (free on the app store). Definitely noticed sound level variations around the cabin, so have a friend hold it near the mic as you drive at hwy speeds to get before/after readings
No real answer here, but I get inside the car and pop it up from underneath and kind of shimmy it to one side and then get out and try to lift it clean - with varying success. Not pretty and not easy (and doesn't answer your question) but one thing I'm going to try from this thread is sanding...
Last Christmas my kids and parents all chipped in for a TopLift Pro (https://topliftpros.com/pages/bronco).
That plus quick release t-bolts (I think they were these: https://www.amazon.com/GPCA-Quick-Release-Easy-Install-Accessories/dp/B09V5QKFT5?) have allowed me to remove the top a dozen...
FWIW, I have a 2022 non-SAS OBX in NorCal and I pay $515.86 for 6 mos. I have a 2020 BMW 230 convertible (that actually cost pretty close to the same as the OBX, although repair costs for the BMW would be +++$) and the premium for that is $951.80/6mos. Crazy!
Going to pick mine up at 3PM!! Got the call from Ford of Sunnyvale that they're doing PDI. Kinda surprised because the backdoor link had a delivery of 8/24-8/30 as late as this AM (it's updated now LOL). Will add a pic when I grab it.
Here's a question: is anyone leasing? Or is that blasphemy?
(I'm wondering because I've gotten in the habit of leasing cars (while often buying them at lease-end) because that allows me to spread the onerous Santa Clara County sales tax over some initial period instead of paying it all at...
Day-uuuuummmm . . . that color looks nice. That was my original color choice, but I changed to EG when it became available and now I'm having a tiny smidge of buyer's remorse LOL
Just got this . . . Hopefully that's as shiny as she'll ever be! Looking forward to a couple of rolls in the mud!
It was pretty funny how they signed the email the picture came in with: "Thanks for sticking with us,"
Checked the backdoor tracker and my estimated delivery (to NorCal) was moved up. Originally I was 8/24-8/30, then got pushed back to 9/10-9/16 and now back to 8/24-8/30! Fingers crossed!
I wouldn't mind if they threw my Bronco on one of these self-driving rigs:

For the NorCal crown (@AzGrrl480 -- anyone else?), I got an email from Ford saying "your Bronco is on its way" and the backdoor tracker says "shipped" although the date is still 9/10-9/16. So it looks like we're on the train! Fingers crossed that the journey is fast and smooth!
Looks like you got the answer, but yeah: that's the way I've been gettng the ETA dates. The backdoor tracker that uses my reservation #. The link that Ford sent me in the emails doesn't have ETA info, alas. Fingers crossed that the early Sept date sticks!
Soooo . . . checked the back door tracker this AM and my estimated delivery date (which had said 8/24-8/30) now says 9/10-9/16 . . . Grrrrrr
(I'm in NorCal FYI)
FWIW, my dealer said yesterday (I can't say that without smirking at myself) that ship times to Cali have been on the fast end of the range recently. Fingers crossed
Been bounced around a bunch, so gave up joining these groups, but I guess my 8/1 week stuck and got built 8/8 and now awaiting shipment (by rail). The backdoor tracker says delivery 8/24-8/30.
FWIW, I ordered through Sunnyvale Ford in Cali and they told me yesterday that the delivery date above...
What's up guys? Bumped from 6/27 to 7/25 to 8/8. Was a day 1 res, but when my bronco came in 4/21, some stuff in my life had changed and couldn't do it. Things got better and reordered 10/21.
