  1. Ford Procal PIDS

Is there a list somewhere of what these mean? There are some that seem to make little to no sense. I have experience with HPtuners a while ago. They have some weird ones on the procal I’m most interested int the Lrnd_knk_mod and what that’s supposed to be. It doesn’t seem to make any sense as...
  2. Wastegate issues?

I’ll just take it to the dealer and let them fix it. But if they don’t, I’ll check it. I’ve always run 91 (premium in Californistan) and I now run a Lucas octane booster the video I have is too long. I’ll try again for a shorter one tomorrow
  3. Wastegate issues?

Thanks, I’ll let that in mind. Was yours pretty intermittent depending on how hard you were hitting the throttle?
  4. Wastegate issues?

So I’ve had that wastegate actuator rattle. I went ahead and put the Procal tune on the bronco and now it has weird wastegate actuation. Think a 2 step on a drag car. Has anyone else had that issue? Thinking about going to the dealer to have them look at it. It threw a code and put it into...
  5. Ford Performance Tune with E85?

e85 is great for a forced induction, high compression, or nitrous engine though. For a variety of reasons. I used to have a couple cars running E85 and it’s very nice. Buuuuuuut the trade off is 30% worse fuel economy. Which, honestly, for me is not an option with a 2 door. It already is fuel...
  6. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Youtube some drag racers doing burnouts in the box. The wastegate are usually external vented so you can see flames and hear the pressure venting. It’s a safety on the exhaust housing side of the turbo, it just vents exhaust gas around the actual turbo impeller
  7. Ford Performance Tune with E85?

it’ll take a custom tune. No way the ford performance tune or the factory tune have the E85 stoichiometric (AFR) fueling tables built in. Not to mention wider injector pulse windows, higher duty cycle, added timing. as far as learning for mods, sorta. The fuel trim tables will add some fuel for...
  8. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine has that also. I’m not worried about it til it breaks. The weirder thing is that at wide open mid to upper RPM I noticed I was getting wastegate pop like I was at the strip doing a launch control or 2 step. Only noticed after the procal tuner I just installed. Have you noticed anything like...
  9. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

So, coming from GM stuff and HPTuners, this thing is ok I guess. You get a little more boots, it comes on earlier for sure, but reading these gauges is weird man. Sometimes it’s going -tdc timing. Which is weird. I’m using 91 octane and an octane booster. Granted the logs and gauges aren’t what...
  10. Badass tents half rack system for 2 door

Yea mine rattle when they are full. It's a decent way to carry fuel, but its not perfect. I'm thinking of machining some different bracket up to stop the rattle. One other thing I did was to put some rubber grommets over the bolts. I was fueling up once and noticed the plastic was getting cut by...
  11. Badass tents half rack system for 2 door

I have 2 gallon rotopax on there. No reason why you can't go larger. Are you thinking the huge single one? I think all the individual tanks fit. But if you want to do that big 4 gallon rotopax, you probably need the other vertical section from badasstents. I don't think the spacing on mine is...
  12. ARB diff cover installed

Not much force at all. To get the line into the clamps I used you just spread the clamp. They are a 1/4 inch padded wire clamp. I have a big variety pack from Amazon. Yea the dipstick will clear the line. Once you unthread it the disptick pulls right out. Getting the line out of the factory...
  13. Larger gas tank or extra fuel options

I have a 2 door and hate how little capacity it has. My old econobox cars had 12 gallons and got like 30mph so it wasn't a big deal. I wish they found some more room for the fuel, maybe a saddle tank or something. Out west here some trails start 100 miles away from a gas station. I nearly ran...
  14. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

Where are you measuring to when determining how tall each corner is? The front looks like it's within a half inch. The rear not so much. When you're measuring, how full is your gas tank? That's nearly 100lbs of fuel (mkre if you're a 4 door) directly above the passenger shock. Also, if you set...
  15. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

I just wouldn't worry much about it. I understand the OCD about it though. Maybe try to balance any loads you carry or soemthing. I know I usually always carry my air compressor, 4 tire inflation lines, impact gun, and a decent bottle jack. Probably 100lbs of crap, and I try to keep it on the...
  16. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

How close is it if you just do the same coil perch height on each cornet? Is it off by inches? Or is it off by like half an inch? When you are making the adjustments, are you cycling the suspension at all in between cranking on each corner? Things will want to stay in place until you cycle the...
  17. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

First off, get on the California 6 Gen Broncos Facebook page. We are going to diablo dropoff tomorrow. There is a meet spot in El Cajon and I'm meeting a couple up in Temeucla. I'm in Murrieta, so I know those trails you're talking about. I also have a black diamond. There are a bunch of other...
  18. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

Why don't you make a thread on the vendor marketplace? I made an informational thread based on a lot of drive time with the eibach stuff. You're throwing in all the other brands now? That's weird. Normally site sponsors have their own section.
  19. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

Yea castor you'll need arms. The original post about camber, would have changed if you lowered the height.
  20. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

It almost appear that both times the sound came when the back end squatted in the passenger rear. Or it sorta looked like that. Did you do the install or did a shop? If you did it, I'd make sure all fasteners are tight. If a shop did it, I'd take it back and tell them to fix it.
