Probably same, I'd really like to see a long travel kit in the 14-16" of useable front travel range. RCLT, Solo, OPT, Total Chaos someone's gotta do it lol
I'm pretty sure the direction everyone's heading on ifs portal builds is only running them up front. 74weld mentioned something about the new Tayota portal kits coming in around 12k but that could be bare without breaks etc, a little better than 10k a corner but still $$$
Finished the 3/4" body lift today, I cut the spacers out of a piece of flat uhmw stock with a hole saw and drilled them. I think I have less than 50 bucks into it with the two front bolts.
I was worried it would be noticeable and you really can't tell unless you know.
Fast, rhythmic clicking is usually CV axles, almost sounds like the wheel of fortune wheel spinning. When I grenaded my front differential there was a much more aggressive bang/crunch, about once per tire rotation that would cause the tire to skip/bind ever so slightly, and sounded like it came...
Is it the 1/2 or 2/3 shift in 4lo? Iāve noticed it in 2hi leaving my driveway a few times. It almost seems like it holds/carries rpm enough to let the transmission shift and as it slips into the next gear it lurches forward. Seems to happen to me at 4-6 mph or so
Oddly enough, I installed the...
We donāt get the same luxury of being able to switch steering power in the fly like the braptors can. My steering gets much heavier and slower in sport mode though, definitely not faster.
Mines rubbed through the driver fender In The same spot. If I go to the passenger side there is a pretty nice gap between that piece your talking about and the paint but on the drivers side itās 1/16ā or less away from the paint. I temporarily put some ppf there but I believe the soft top needs...
It was much harder to capture in video, above 5mph it sounded like it was about to come apart and would also bind up
and yea, the m210 differential is the one that comes standard with Sasquatch package. Its slightly larger, has an electronic larger and takes the larger Sasquatch CV axles too.
Was your noise similar to this? The first video is 4HI / FAD locked and the 2nd is 2wd but with the FAD still locked because Ford locks it up under 32 degrees. If you dont have FAD the diff will spin all the time and it would be similiar to this in 2wd. My non-sas m190 diff did the same granted...
Metal cloak looks like it hangs pretty low an costs you some clearance , i donāt want universal because that means it hangs low enough to cover the 2.7 braces. Id like to be as tucked as possible because the bronco has enough low hanging fruits as it is imo
Iāve been doing a ton of searching for a 2.3L skid that doesnāt go under the 2.7L braces with no luck. I think Iām going to see if I can fab something up myself because it looks pretty flat
You installed them but took to dealer to diagnose and Iām assuming fix? Im leaning towards improper installation, but I hate to point fingers so fast. Curious to see how this plays out, because I think youād be the first with a broken rack with his fixes.
I saw on their IG that Loren is apart of the testing on these, and that 40s is the goal. I really wonder if this is going to be the āhydroā setup that the fun runner crew was talking about at SEMA that wasnāt quite ready yet.
I held off on Hoss 3.0 swap just because there really isnāt much...
Im curious about this myself, but I believe because it is an āopenā diff when lockers are unlocked so when the FAD disconnects (it disconnects the passenger axle from the intermediate shaft) neither axle spins anymore.
I currently have an issue in my front differential, a pretty aggressive...
I think Iāve seen more m210 failures of the actual case then I have the m190. I know itās supposed to be steel vs aluminum andthe m210 Iām sure is wheeled harder, but it caught my attention.
and there was a guy on YouTube as well as a guy on Facebook both that let go in a mud hole. I think...
