  1. Bubbling/Peeling Paint - Less Than a Month Owned

Could be bad metal under there. had to have my tailed replaced after getting rear ended. They had one stock so I was pretty happy theyā€™d have the new one ready quickly. When I checked on my advisor, also the manager, said he looked at the one they had and the primer itself a was flaking off and...
  2. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

I find this an odd complaint. All the cars Iā€™ve driven made from the 70ā€™s-2017 have the parking break release and hood release near each other lower left of the steering column. Excepting the pull lever by the center console on Japanese card and the stupid gotta push the brake all the way to the...
  3. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

For sure. My wife likes to slam the doors like itā€™s a 1980 Oldsmobile. More training required.
  4. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

Would love to hear your review of the tune. And from what I gather it does shorten drivetrain warranty?
  5. Sliders that look more like nerf bars?

Does anybody make sliders that look more like nerf bars than running boards?
  6. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

Forcing the window to ā€œre-learn the stops. At LEAST once week. Usually passenger rear. But still kinda random.
  7. My Bronco MIC hardtop cracked in cold (-11 degrees)

Whatā€™s funny is even the aftermarket folks havenā€™t really brought anything to market yet either. Advanced hasnā€™t shipped many if any either. Anderson isnā€™t shipping any now per the link. 1. Too worried about being light? 2. Too worried about being modular? 3. Mounting points on the Bronco make...
  8. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

Not at all. Only happens under load. Sounds like valve rattle on an old sloppy valve train.
  9. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

Yeah. Ford Corporate told the dealer itā€™s not an issue. Iā€™m gonna let it ride for a bit and if it bothers me too much Iā€™ll probably push to get it replaced.
  10. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

Yeah. Not totally satisfied with the answer. What donā€™t get is why it goes away after warm up. And doesnā€™t start for about the first 1/2 minute.
  11. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

They were able to reproduce and sent an email into Ford tech. Ford is aware of the noise and say itā€™s ā€œnormal waste gate rattle and nothing to worry aboutā€. Just got it back this afternoon.
  12. Metal Hard Top?

How heavy were the hard tops for the first generation? I get they were quite a bit smaller. More of a curiosity than anything else.
  13. Metal Hard Top?

Sounds like the MIC top is already pretty suspect.
  14. Metal Hard Top?

More than $12k from ford? Or $6k after market offerings?
  15. Metal Hard Top?

Iā€™m gonna start with saying I have no experience with the metal hard top generation. only Blazers and Jimmys with the fiberglass hard tops. Does it not make sense to make a metal hard top any more? Sorta modular 1 ie 2 Roof panel and 3 panels that have the windows?
  16. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

I have 9,000 miles so I donā€™t think thatā€™s it. Higher octane made no difference for me. See if I can get it in this week. Will post what they find.
  17. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

Did you ever figure this out? Exactly the same conditions but mine sounds like valve rattle.
  18. Manual Sasquatch owners…Satisfied with the choice?

I really like mine but sure would like to drop the 3.5 in it. After break in period mpg seems to be steadily climbing. Started at 17.7 now at 19.0. No reset.
  19. Manual Sasquatch owners…Satisfied with the choice?

Theyā€™re afraid of 2 things IMO we canā€™t handle the power and will kill ourselves or someone. The drivetrain canā€™t handle it. Back on ā€˜00 I got a Dakota manual. Largest engine you could get was the small 8 magnum. It WOULD spine tires in 4 out of the 5 gears though. Maybe I ruined it for everyone...
