I don't quite remember, but you may be right on the gear they were using. I do always put it in C or R. I would do that either way. I just feel like a handbrake would be a significant QOL improvement over the switch; especially as it's placed. Of course I'd prefer a reliable, simple, tactile...
These arguments are generally pretty subjective. Safety and consistency are a faith argument that shows cracks on any electronic vs mechanical comparison (and this recall). Convenience might be a wash, if it was located in the center console. That seems to be the big enabler for their argument...
The recall proves that Ford can make an unreliable electronic e-brake system (surprise). Also, in the manual, you don't have the backup protection of the transmission being in Park. The 2.3 doesn't have a whole lot of compression to overcome gravity. There was a post here some time back of...

Most of the higher discounts are on no-name brands, but I scored a set of Falkens with 20% off.
I also checked price match on other sellers, and they...
Typo, I meant $800 (825 on Ford Performance). Forgot about the lower price from Lethal. Still, more than I'd want to pay for one feature that's just coding.
Rev match is the only part of the tune that I really want, and I can't justify $800 for that alone. I'm going to keep my eye on this thread and fingers crossed that someone figures it out.
No Bronco is X-Plan eligible. They haven't been from the start. Some dealers have offered "x-plan pricing", but that's just matching what the assumed x-plan price would be, if available.

Those Non-Sas owners with mudflaps, how far from the bottom of the flare do they drop?
I have a pair of these to install, and I can't decide on the length to set them up for on 33's.
Can't be sure, but it looks like the only thing holding that thing together was the bright parts to the right. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to be in the garage, inspecting parts.
Took delivery on Friday morning. Less than 24 hrs after booking transport. I was unprepared for such a quick turn around after the odyssey to get here. Glad to have it home, now just the waiting for Ford to deliver on the full rebate. I'm not sure what I'll do when I'm not waiting on Ford for...
The issue that IROC is running into, and one that I experienced as well (no changes in the Ford system), is that the finance contact doesn't want to hear about the details. They just want to get your stack of papers off their desk. The response is "trust that we know what we're doing"...
I get it. It sounds like you probably talked to the same person as me. I had to push to apply the order modification rebate because it didn't show up at first. I get the impression that they've dealt with some aggressive and entitled people and have run out of patience.
It sucks for us, because...
"pack sand" or "you'll have to wait for the exception process"? It sounds like you may be in the same position as me: there are two certificate numbers, one with a lower amount for program 38644. For whatever reason, that's what shows up in SmartVincent, and there is too much going on for...
I checked the box for Pick-up and delivery without looking at the fine print (on me).
It sure sounds like I'd have to be within 20 miles of Granger to use that. I'm not even within 20 miles of the nearest Ford dealership, let alone Granger. Maybe someone has already used this provision, and...
