  1. Review: Oracle Lighted Grill Letters

Yup - just glued the edges. Can’t recall the name of the glue I used - but I do remember specifically buying a package that stated it was for plastics. I’m leaning toward it being a flavor of JB Weld that listed plastics on the package. I remember having to mix 2 agents together. The...
  2. What plugs / connectors are these?

molex. you can get on Amazon.
  3. Auto-High-Beams are Enough for “Reasonable Suspicion”

did not mean to imply that I had it set at 25 MPH. Just that it was active. My work is on a street with a 25 Mph limit that quickly goes to 35 mph in a couple blocks, followed by 50 mph a few blocks after that. All on the same street. So I will frequently use the ACC and just set it at 50 or...
  4. Auto-High-Beams are Enough for “Reasonable Suspicion”

Add to this another warning of “technology attracting unwanted attention”… following a cop in a neighborhood with ACC set. We were coming out of a 25MPH zone into a 35MPH zone. He sped up. Bronco speeds up to match his car. He pulls over, lets me pass the gets behind and flips on the lights...
  5. Solid Advice For Our Youth…

I hope your sons will find this advice to be valuable.
  6. Additional Key Fob

this worked fine for me. but it is trickey. you wouldn’t think such simple instructions could be so easy to make one tiny error on…..but it took me like 5 tries to get it right. it was like playing that game “Simon” lol but… in the end, I now keep my 2 factory keys in the safe at home...
  7. Trailer Brake Module Fault

I just got this for the first time today. I pulled over unplugged my seven pin connector and plugged it back in. The errors went away. Time will tell if that’s a long-term fix. I suspect just a bad connection in the plug. Edit: no dice on it being a long-term fix. It did make the error go away...
  8. Bronco featured in new Ford ad "Starting Line"

What, no diesel? Power Stroke getting no love
  9. roof light bar noise

I have always LOVED the look of windshield mounted light bars. Either LED rectangular bars or KC style round pods. Put them on all my Jeep builds. But for me - they are really only for looks. Love the look. Hated the wind noise and glare off the hood any time I used them at night. I...
  10. Is Ford still sending out Assembly Line Photos?

Not sure if they stopped doing it or if it just got real spotty. I never did get mine (over a year ago now) I like the idea. But everybody takes their own baby pic when they pick it up at the dealer anyway so I guess not the end of the world. Also, there’s a thread on here that tried to...
  11. Bronco Trail App Finally Released! 📲

 yeow!! Anger management issues much? I wasn’t speaking for you. Don’t know you. Don’t wanna know you. And personally don’t give a flyin’ f what you do with your screen. But I do know what you DON’T do with your screen…..you do not have any scale on your screen indicating distance...
  12. Bronco Trail App Finally Released! 📲

I want to inject a point I’ve made on a couple of these threads now just so people’s expectations don’t get too high…. NONE of these services - paid or free - are usable on the dash screen of your Bronco. Lemmie splain… They all have 2 interfaces. The cool phone/tablet/laptop interface...
  13. MPG-what am I doing wrong?

Pray you never tow with it LOL. Even this lil’ ol’ thing behind me on the interstate and I”m lucky to see 11 MPG. And that’s only when going downhill with a tailwind.
  14. Everglades Owners: Replaced your windshield yet???

Yes I know. I installed it. ;) So I’m guessing you did NOT have to remove the A-pillar bracket to replace the windshield? Because it also protrudes over the edge of the glass. Just not the whole height of the glass top-to-bottom like the snorkel itself does.
  15. Everglades Owners: Replaced your windshield yet???

Can a Ford tech or somebody with a service manual for the Everglades give us an "expert" ruling on this? Does the service manual call for removing the snorkel in order to replace an Everglades windshield? If so, does it call for removing the A-pillar mounting bracket as well? If so, what...
  16. Everglades Owners: Replaced your windshield yet???

Well that’s good news bad news. Glad to know I didn’t screw it up. But if removing the snorkel truly is required for glass replacement - then that is clearly bad news to ALL Everglades owners out there. Especially if glass shops are unwilling to remove it. Means a 3 step process to...
  17. Everglades Owners: Replaced your windshield yet???

Added an Everglades snorkel to my WildTrak. Took it into Safelite to have the windshield replaced and they refused to touch it because the snorkel overlaps the glass a little. Told me somebody will have to remove the snorkel first since they don’t do that sort of work. So this weekend I...
  18. Poll: Thoughts on Trim Swapping Modifications?

cosmetic only? I have added functional things like stabar disco and snorkel from other trims.
  19. My Baby is Finally Home... After Being Shot at and Crashed
