The reason they are all differently keyed is that the retainers is how the sensors are “aimed”. If you modify the retainers to fit a different bumper or location, you may create blind spots and a sensor may not detect obstacles as they should.
I had the base bumper with fog lights and parking sensors on my OBX. Found a take off Mod bumper locally for $400.
Bought the correct intercooler brackets ($165 for the pair) instead of cutting the loops on the stock ones as I had bent one of them while in Moab.
Had to buy different sensor...
Thanks, I was able to talk to dealer parts guy. He figured out mistake was he selected “metal” bumper and ordered the parts with CA-CD suffix.
Evidently Ford parts call the Mod bumper something else. He pulled a VIN of a Bronco with mod bumper I ordered that way.
Hopefully will have them...
I bought a used, take-off Modular bumper for my OBX to replace the plastic bumper.
Was kind of surprised to find that the little plastic retainers for the parking sensors are different depending on which bumper you have.
Called the local Ford dealer and explained it all, and they ordered up...
If it's Ford's ESP it is the same. Is the dealer trying to sell you something OTHER than Ford's ESP?
He just wants your money - ask him to get IN PRINT the differences and I bet he has no means to do so.

Been sitting on my SuperChips programmer waiting to make wheel/tire swap. With that done yesterday, set it up for the new tires (32.75”) and “Bambi Mode” for the fog lights to stay on with high beams.
Everything seems to be working as it should.
