2.3 non-sasquatch 4door highway driving moderately conservatively 20+ I'll take it. I expect 2.7 on highway to be almost the same. Rest I don't care about. In town mileage is always going to blow.
Sure I wish 33s were an 'option' on the BD without going up in price to another trim level. Do I need 33s? Hell no. The BD size is even smaller than BB/OB but it is substantially cheaper tire size - 265/70 17 is insanely common across work trucks. That and 245 75/17 are probably the best...
The tacoma / 4runner is worse than sitting in many compact cars in terms of flat, car-like posture. Some like it, I hate it and it is uncomfortable for long drives. Probably my number one complaint with that platform (even more so than the old, but reliable powertrain and high prices).
This is why manufacturers hate giving consumers too many choices. The amount of bitching and moaning over the MIC was insane. I could see why some might not prefer it, but many plastics get that sunfaded look over time, this was just ... more black-gray and would hold up to the elements well...
Will be interesting

F150 appears to have added some kind of electronic module, but vacuum lines still appear present. Would be nice if they just got rid of this but...
This is most likely incorrect. Ford has possibly made it worse. Vacuum line still present but electronic addition.

$5 / gal gas won't help. The political climate we live in will push us to electric (which in itself isn't bad, but we neither have the infrastructure nor is it more 'environmentally friendly') by force.
People forget about the size. We don't all want giant vehicles. Today's 1/2 tons are the same size as 10x more capable 3/4 and 1 tons. They are designed to be run empty for the most part (except for that .0001% of max tow / payload special orders and plain jane work trucks).

Won't purchase till MY23 at least - hoping for Jeep JL discount levels (~5% off invoice on factory order). My current WK would be at 190-200k by then.
I bet the non squatch broncos may meet this on paper but not be any better...These are 5000# bricks that are certainly less aerodynamic than f150s with their super low air dams, etc.
I'm still looking at BD for cheap and easy availability of 265 70 17 tires which are big enough for me, though I am not a fan of steel wheels (less concerned now that I have left the rust belt for work), but like the bumper/marine grade vinyl seats. Ambivalent on the aux switches since it...
It will make a positive difference. Tires obviously are even more relevant. Most of the nay-sayers would certainly like it if they drove back to back...
Grew up in snow country and you can get by with a 2wd truck, ballast and snow tires just fine in most normal circumstances. Is it nearly as...
Which year grand cherokee? Qt1 qt2 or qd2? the transfer case on most of them are solid as a rock - just need regular fluid changes with cheapo atf. Gm uses a very similar t case on most of their trucks and suvs.
