Thats a good looking bronco! thanks for the info regarding springs. Did you have fog lights? I have the capable bumper with fogs so not sure what to do with them. Would like to keep them. But that’s a nit.
looking forward to see how your install goes. I am looking at the same bumper/inch set up. I have been wondering if front springs should be replaced due to the added weight. But haven’t done the research yet.
Congratulations! the Bronco just gets better as you get to know it. Bug deflector was a must for me. Makes a big difference. Know that those tires will throw gravel. I out on paint protection on the rockers and Zroadz step/sliders. They protect the body well and give a bit of a step. I...
that is what I was thinking. Kind of like how my old bass boat engine loads up after idling fo a while. but it is not brand new! Yes, annoying. I’m glad your Bronco isn’t doing it.
Thanks for the replies. At least I know I’m not alone. It does appear to be a (mis)engineered action. I will see what the service manager has to say and reply back. If you get any more info please share.
every time I have been in 4 low for a while crawling, the truck accelerates gently on its own for a few seconds. Freaked me out the first couple times. Especially when it happened at a most in opportune moment, going down a steep boulder trail. I have not talked to my dealer (who I trust) yet...
Removing the roof rails made a significant highway noise reduction for me. Will put them in when I need them. I like the look better with them on though.
My 2 door hardtop is the same. Yes, noisy. Like a window is cracked open in the back. 85 mph is a bit of a roar. Wife not real happy about that as she gave up her Lexus for “her“ new Bronco. I knew it would be noisy. I told her it would be, but it’s quite a difference. otherwise it drives...
Same here. Kept my 4 door 4x4 Ram. But don’t have any of my earlier Broncos. Got my new 2 door BL Sas 2.7 4 weeks ago. Absolutely a great choice. It’s a blast on road as well as off.
my brother had a brand new Bronco II back in the day. 6 cylinder, stick. 5 speed as I recall. It was a blast to drive. Yours is indeed a very well maintained throw back Seldom seen now. Oh. Sweet OB also!
