What makes MSRP so special? There are lots of vehicles I wouldn’t pay MSRP for. What if the MSRP was 20% more than it is currently? Would everyone be so eager to buy at MSRP? ADM? The market and competition set the price. MSRP stands for manufacturers suggested retail price, it has always been a...
Nice to see some real word validation on those numbers. In this crazy world we live in it’s good to know those zany engineers and their equations still hold true.
According to a gear ratio table I found a Bronco with the 2.72 tc, 3.73 and 32” tires should be turning 1869 rpm at 75 mph. Change to 4.27 and the rpm’s go to 2139. The taller gears combined with 4 Low should meet my needs just fine.
If I can average 20+ mpg on the highway portion of the trip to my spot in the woods then I think I can make the round trip on one tank of gas. I'd hate to have to stop for gas 30 min from home. If I don't buy a 4runner before I can order a 6G I think I'm leaning toward a Base 4 Door 2.7 and...
With 4H you need to think of the transfer case as a center diferential. When engaged the center differential is locked sending 50% of the power to the front and rear axles.
If the 6G hadn’t come out I don’t think I’d be looking to replace my XJ.
But I have some grandkids coming up and wouldn’t mind some more room and the safety features. Plus I admit to some nostalgia for the good ol’ days when I cut my teeth on an early Bronco.
I can’t believe some people. It is no small endeavor to design, prototype and bring to market a quality aftermarket part like this. This guy isn’t getting rich over here but the price reflects the quality and makes the effort worthwhile. Now you want him to give up his work for free? If you...
That red 2-door really takes me back. Had one for my late teens/early twenties. I need a 4-door and don’t need sas but I think they did a fine job on these HE’s.
