If trying to keep it at 1k you may want to look at another sub enclosure option. That box is $460 shipped with no sub. so by the time you add a sub it leaves you around 400 before tax for an amp and 6 speakers plus wiring etc.
Well I finally made the decision and booked an install for Friday. Going with a pretty much all Hertz system. Hertz Mille Pro components up front, Hertz Mille centro 4in for the rear pods, Hertz Mille Pro 12in shallow sub in a downfiring box, Rockford Fosgate Power T1000X5ad 5 channel amp...
Same, there is just so many different options and I only want to do it once and do it right. And the bad thing here in Kansas City is the shops I'm looking at don't all carry the same brands.
So here is where I'm at and I really don't know which way to go and these are at two different shops. I've gone back and forth several times:
1. Focal flax components up front, memphis 4in in the pods, Jl VX700 amp with built in dsp, JL 12in TW3 sub, MTI amp mount, and MTI tailgate sub box...
If I am using an AMP and DSP would it be worth going to my dealer and having them do the flash for the JBL soundbar to send full range before getting my aftermarket stuff installed or no?
Well I've decided to rule out the kicker system as I don't think it's worth the cost and I know it will be good but I will always be wondering what it would have been like to go with more.
I'm either going with a Hertz system, sub included, with a Rockford Fosgate amp or a Focal system with JL...
Stuff has gone up alot even in the last year. But why not run an amp like this that has all 5 channels you need in one and would be cheaper and easy to hook up than 2 amps?

Ya I can't really do it all myself and have it as clean as I'd like it to end up. It will be basically $3,000 all in including labor and tax with the higher end components. I didn't think it was too crazy as the products and wiring all needed was around $2,200, and it's trusted shop with a great...
This is why I'm leaning towards the higher end setup. For the sound quality itself, especially when the top is on. I have listened to both in person but not back to back as the higher end store does not carry kicker at all and the store that has kicker does not carry hertz or focal.
So it's been narrowed down to two final options:
1. Kicker KS series for all speakers, infinity 5 channel amp, 10 inch downfiring kicker sub - $1,981
2. Hertz centro series for all speakers, Hertz 5 channel amp, Hertz centro 10 inch sub - $2,850
This is what I have to decide between. Any...
I got my 4 door in last Friday and put the kids car seats in and was a bit disappointed in the room they had, less than my Camry, and wondered if maybe I just don't have them in quite right. The angle of the rear seat had me change them around quite a bit. How have others with car seats noticed...
