Looks like about 76" from the outside of the sidewall bulge on both sides, on my 2022 OBX with stock wheels/tires. If the 7' measurement on your trailer is between the wheel wells, you should be fine. I don't think even the Raptor is that wide.

That sounds like the expected behavior. The metal key is not intended to be used instead of the key fob, it is used with the fob when the fob battery is dead. Once the door is opened with the metal key, the key fob can be placed in the "passive key backup location" at the bottom of the center...

This happens on my 2022 Outer Banks that I picked up last month. Just filed a complaint with NHTSA.
