There's a little bar built into the back of the seats. The panels rests on the seat and the larches hook under the bar to keep the pals securely in place.
Very nice! I'm not thrilled with the piano hinges I used as they do detract from a totally flat floor. IF I get motivated I may replace them with hidden hinges.
The only framing done was around the storage boxes. The platform itself is 3/4 inch OSB. The one on the boxes is single thickness, the other two are double thickness(1 1/2 in) to accommodate the lock down locks in the forward panel and keeping the middle panel level with that.
There is but because the panels are hinged the rear section with the storage boxes can also be folded up reveling the jack compartment. It's a bit heavy but still manageable.

Purchased off Amazon. If you look closely at the boxes you can see the driver side had to be modified slightly to fit around the rear door lock mechanism. Trimmed about 4 inches off the drawer pull handle.
The two storage boxes are approximately the same height as the folded down rear seats which allow for the panels to lay flat on top.
There are some mods I'd make to it such as using invisable hinges rather than piano hinges but that's what I had. I might even split the two upper panels allowing...
Nicely done. I wanted to keep the rear seats just in case so I came up with a storage option without removing the back seats. The panels fold back allowing the rear seats to be used. Also included tie down rings and cabinet locks which lock the panels down using the built in tie down rods built...
