Yes, and until I adjusted my headlights, I felt bad driving at night and tried to avoid if possible. Just adjusted my headlights the other day. I have about a 2.5 inch lift.
So far so good. I think that the ride is much better than when I had the Bilsteins. I like being able to adjust them with a spanner wrench. This came in handy when I had a bit of a drop in the front from the weight of my winch set up. That said, most of my driving has been on road and some light...
I just saw this June 2022 discussion from theBronconation.com that might be of interest for those of you looking to DIY. The OP made his own rail caps for his 2-door by purchasing rail caps for a RAM truck and modded them to fit. Looks good...
Looks great! I actually prefer the look with the lights mounted higher up on the trailrax windshield as you have it. The original height of the lights on the RTR platform looks like it would obstuct a bit of your top view e.g., would be difficult to see traffic lights if you are at the front of...
Hopefully more options/competition to drive prices down. Chatted with AdvFiberglass and they stated that they have no intention of creating a roadster door. Hopefully others will consider a simple inexpensive insert like the ones widely available for the 1st gen.
I would really like to see something like this for the 6th Gen. Especially like the price point. https://shop.broncograveyard.com/Fiberglass-Door-Inserts-With-Backing-Plates-Pair/productinfo/14299A/
Saw this today. https://andersoncomposites.com/products/2021-2023-ford-bronco-fiberglass-roadster-doors-front-4-door
Reached out to AC to see if they have plans to offer the same for the 2-door. They said that they do plan on it and should have an answer later this year!
@Tricky Dick Thank you for the follow up on your experience. I was getting worried since I have the same set up and customized it a bit...was fearing that I'd have to find another mounting solution.
You have to align the set screw on the adapter with the flat portion of the lever and secure the adapter with the original 3mm retaining bolt. With the retaining bolt in place, it should be impossible to pull off the adapter. The set scew on the adapter prevents the adapter from twisting.
I was eyeing their stainless steel one as well. Very easy to swap out. FYI if going for another brand, thread size M16-1.50 will fit the Twisted Shifterz adapter.
I like the round one that came with the Twisted Shifterz adapter, but this knob from Johnnylawmotorsonline is pretty cool. Easy enough to switch out if needed. Both are good quality. Wanted to share if you all were considering an aftermarket knob. The extra height and weight gives a better feel...
