Do you have any of that communication in writing? Not as good as a written contract, but that is a verbal one. Gonna be an SOB to sue but maybe call an attourney
Update: took it to another dealer. They were a little cautious about the undercoating, but without much persuasion they took it apart and found the sensor was faulty. Who would have guessed? Warrantied, but the part is under national backorder. Hmmm, I wonder why...:cautious:
For anyone else...
I'm really looking for a fold-down soft top option for the 2 door. As nice as they've made it, removing the hard top is still too much of a PITA for me.
CEL light is on. After much waffling by Ford customer service, they seriously recommended I just take it to another dealer as I guess they aren't interested in actually doing something about this.
Great.
Adding I just experienced this same problem. However, my sensor only provided a temporary error after 6 months. Will post if the CEL comes back on. Dealership not only denied warranty, but suggested a repair despite the sensor resuming function, instead of, you know, cleaning the damn thing...
Demand in the SUV segment is only increasing, cars are still going away. 2 door Bronco is their SUV "sports car" equivalent. A less subtle mustang analog. Even uses the same motor! (Sometimes)
2dr Rear legroom is fantastic actually. Entry is made much easier with running boards. Family doesn't mind getting in and I think the shorter wheelbase makes it better to drive. If you aren't hauling kids, or maybe dogs, 100% 2 door.
Just a quick post, I know these have been popular and there is a lot of info available, just want to post some pictures installed on my 2 door since all I could find when I was shopping are 4 door pics.
They do stick out a hair past my non-sas wheels, but in person they look fine. I know I...
Warranty issues with new cars is kinda just one of those things. As long as it doesn't result in downtime, I usually just brush it off. Lots and lots of parts, stacking tolerances, manufacturing tooling, suppliers... it's a tough business. Why most suggest not buying a first model year car, they...
Feel like this should have separate categories for minor and major problems. I really just needed my roof panels and windows re adjusted, an easy and free fix by the dealer. Only other problem is a visual molding defect on my horn button that kinda bugs me and IDK what to do about it.
I hate both area 51 and cactus grey, I guess iconic silver wasn't bland enough for people.
What's worse, the Bronco actually looks really, really good in silver. Shame everything is so greyscale these days it was a non-starter for me.
Yes, that is a different bumper. There is a "round" and an "angular" bumper, I bought the angular thinking it would be similar in construction to the "round" because I liked the aesthetics better.
You could reuse the factory fogs, but it doesn't have any brackets or anything for it. You would have to drill bolt holes, and maybe use some washers or something for proper alignment. Personally I only plan to modify when/if I get an aftermarket pair. You can definitely run it without the bull...
