Off topic a bit here, but does anyone know where I can find those replacement bolts mentioned in this thread? I took mine out when I swapped to the Bestop and find the originals now.
I am going up to Harrah's in Murphy in just a little bit. I was thinking I may take the "scenic" route back. Is Tray Mountain Road accessible from the backside via Indian Grave or Tray Mountain Road off of Chimney Gap still? I read somewhere that the Chimney Gap access was closed. I live between...
I have the Trektop Slantback. I have a hardtop as well, but it just sits in the basement. I won't go back to it as I really like the Trektop Slantback look and function. My only complaint is that it doesn't fold all the way back. I wish it went all the way back, from a looks standpoint, but it...
So as a former total loss adjuster (10+ years) the biggest thing for the insurance company will be lowest ultimate cost. Bronco’s will total easier, even with high values, as their salvage values are thru the roof. That, coupled with an expected diminished value can make these Broncos easily...
The stance is really impressive. Nice work on that. I went with a GRT PC lift for cost reasons. Big difference in that, but ultimately that stance is what I would want to go with. If it weren't for this 2 week road trip I am taking the family in July, I may be getting serious about. Nice job!
I did try to find this information before hand.
I see IAG has a Raptor grille available and it says it's interchangable with any Bronco. They are asking like $500.00 for the Raptor style grille. I see some other AM options out there as well for lower cost.
Has anyone replaced their OEM grille...
This weekend I removed the hard top (likely for good) and replaced with a Trektop. There is absolutely no discernable difference in noise level between it and hard top. My wife and daughter rode with me yesterday and didn't notice it all.
For me, the Trektop is the absolute best look on the...
Yes, that's my inclination but I mean I have heard $7k-8k for a used one, someone in another group said they saw $9500.00. That seems silly. I can't imagine someone paying $7k+ for one.
I don't know if there are group rules in regards to this question, if so I apologize in advance.
I prefer the Bestop slant back look on Broncos and soft tops in general. I had Jeeps with both hard and soft tops and I prefer the soft top.
I am hopefully going to install a new Trektop this...
Those few cubic feet wouldn't make much a difference to me. I see what he is saying though. Personally, I like the way the Bestop looks. I like it better than the hard top or OEM soft top. My guess is that I won't put that hard top back on once I get the soft top on.
I went over the specs this weekend. It's a really cool product, but for $200.00 more I can just get the full soft top, which is the route I will go I think. Great write up on this!!!
Yes, I actually reached out to Bestop as well. They confirmed you cannot. It's still not a deal breaker for me. It won't stop me from taking the doors off.
Can you still remove the rear hard top on it fairly easily? I'd like the option of going with nothing on it. I like taking the doors off. I would just leave the Skyrider on and take doors and rear hard top off.
I currently have a 2.25 perch collar lift on my Wildtrak. I am looking at putting a real coil over lift to give additional ride height and better ride. I would want one at least 3 inches may 4. I currently run a 0 offset Fifteen52 rim with 37 inch BFG Ko2s.
Any recommendations?
