Not yet, and no one with MT orders on Jlwrangler forum has reported movement yet. Thankfully 2023 manuals held up by the latest recall have been getting delivered. Rumor has it 2024 MT production will start late August or early September.

I was hoping to jump into a Wrangler after the announcement that Ford isn’t taking manual Bronco orders, but Jeep’s manual transmission Wranglers are in a recall stop sale due to the transmission potentially grenading. The car search would definitely be easier if I didn’t care to row my own!

Thanks for looking out! Given that MT orders are off the table, I’m scouring the open market for something that gets me most of what I want.

Thanks for confirming that… hadn’t seen this clearly stated anywhere else (including my salesperson, who I’ve been hounding almost daily for the last week). I’ll have to mull over whether to try to get a 2 DR MT on the open market or to order a Wrangler instead. Waiting an extra 6 months+ just...

If auto transmission demand is sufficient to reach production capacity for 2024, Ford wouldn’t have an incentive to bring back the manual for the next round, either. An auto trans guarantees higher revenue per unit produced and simplifies production.

Anyone with a manual specced get confirmation that the order will not be able to be submitted? Spoke to my salesperson today and he didn’t say that it was a hard stop, but that’s just one guy.

FYI - Ford of Kirkland has manual 4-door Badlands for $1,500 under MSRP. Just my luck, I missed a 2dr by a hair today.

Did you opt for the headliner? Doubt it does much for insulation or noise reduction, but I’m hoping thst it minimizes echo within the cab. And the one I have specced out at the dealer is essentially the same as yours… I considered it the best “city spec,” since the narrower tires, shorter...

Stopped by FoK over the weekend. The Broncos on the lot were really stacked up… including three 2Dr MT Badlands, all in Area51. Looks like ADMs are falling to “only” $5k. Given all of the layoffs hitting the region, wondering if more consumers are backing out / getting cold feet.
