  1. Black Diamond vs Jeep Willys (Comparison)

Not yet, and no one with MT orders on Jlwrangler forum has reported movement yet. Thankfully 2023 manuals held up by the latest recall have been getting delivered. Rumor has it 2024 MT production will start late August or early September.
  2. Black Diamond vs Jeep Willys (Comparison)

I was waiting to order a 2Dr 6MT Bronco BD; decided to order a 2024 Willys Wrangler instead, given that thereā€™s not a definitive date for MT Bronco availability. Optioned the Wrangler in 2dr with the MT & V6. Kept the soft top rather than opting for the hard-top, and added the convenience group...
  3. Another Price Increase?

And 4A were rarely optioned for dealer stock.
  4. Competition News: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Refresh ordering starts 3/15/23 with lots of changes, updates, upgrades

Since Ford didnā€™t allow ordering MTā€™s the most revent order bank round, I ordered a 2024 2Dr MT Willys soft top instead. With the changes to the Willys spec for 2024, itā€™s now pretty dang close in spec to the Black Diamond I was hoping to get, but a bit less expensive ($39.5k + TTL, about 9%...
  5. Manual transmission will “hopefully” be back for model year 2024 Bronco says Mike Levine

I was hoping to jump into a Wrangler after the announcement that Ford isnā€™t taking manual Bronco orders, but Jeepā€™s manual transmission Wranglers are in a recall stop sale due to the transmission potentially grenading. The car search would definitely be easier if I didnā€™t care to row my own!
  6. Ford of Kirkland Washington

Thanks for looking out! Given that MT orders are off the table, Iā€™m scouring the open market for something that gets me most of what I want.
  7. No 2 Door Orders According to Dealer

Thanks for confirming thatā€¦ hadnā€™t seen this clearly stated anywhere else (including my salesperson, who Iā€™ve been hounding almost daily for the last week). Iā€™ll have to mull over whether to try to get a 2 DR MT on the open market or to order a Wrangler instead. Waiting an extra 6 months+ just...
  8. Current constraints / unavailable options for 2023 Bronco -- Wildtrak, Outer Banks, cloth seats & more... (as of 3/24/23)

If auto transmission demand is sufficient to reach production capacity for 2024, Ford wouldnā€™t have an incentive to bring back the manual for the next round, either. An auto trans guarantees higher revenue per unit produced and simplifies production.
  9. REMINDER: 2023 Bronco Order Banks Opens 3/27 for 24 hours Only. Base Model, Everglades, Manual Transmission Won't Be Available

Anyone with a manual specced get confirmation that the order will not be able to be submitted? Spoke to my salesperson today and he didnā€™t say that it was a hard stop, but thatā€™s just one guy.
  10. REMINDER: 2023 Bronco Order Banks Opens 3/27 for 24 hours Only. Base Model, Everglades, Manual Transmission Won't Be Available

If itā€™s true, that is a letdown. I was really looking forward to finally submitting and order and not having to waste time staying up to date on the latest ordering drama. Guessing that there will be some additional units trickling in from dealer and canceled orders this quarterā€¦ to those that...
  11. Ford of Kirkland Washington

FYI - Ford of Kirkland has manual 4-door Badlands for $1,500 under MSRP. Just my luck, I missed a 2dr by a hair today.
  12. 1k mile new owner worthless observations

Did you opt for the headliner? Doubt it does much for insulation or noise reduction, but Iā€™m hoping thst it minimizes echo within the cab. And the one I have specced out at the dealer is essentially the same as yoursā€¦ I considered it the best ā€œcity spec,ā€ since the narrower tires, shorter...
  13. Ford of Kirkland Washington

Stopped by FoK over the weekend. The Broncos on the lot were really stacked upā€¦ including three 2Dr MT Badlands, all in Area51. Looks like ADMs are falling to ā€œonlyā€ $5k. Given all of the layoffs hitting the region, wondering if more consumers are backing out / getting cold feet.
  14. Top-off / topless etiquette and best practices

When I had a Miata, I loved parking with the top down. Itā€™s not that different from parking a motorcycle.
  15. Go to vendors for wheels/tires?

Iā€™ve used Tire Rack across many vehicles, both for pre-mounted wheels/tires and for tires shipped to vendors. They hsvenā€™t let me down yet.
  16. New 2022 Black Diamond at MSRP

Hello fellow Seattlite! Nice Black Diamond! Always wonder what the take rate for thst trim level is down in Black Diamond, WA. Which dealer did you pick if up from? Have a reservation (not an orderā€¦ yet) at Ford of Kirkland. Their stock units have laughably high ADMs, but they assured that...
  17. šŸ“Š Bronco November 2022 Sales: 9,330 Sold / 12,285 Produced

Hoping that by 2024, someone makes a decent 2-door cargo coverā€¦
  18. So what is "it" about the Bronco (for you)?

I love sports cars, but they donā€™t really make sense for us in Seattle. We have 25 mph roads in the city, the roads are tight and rutted, and our drives out of the city are typically to remote mountain destinations. I just donā€™t have time for A-to-A drives that let sports cars shine. The...
  19. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

The green looks so much better in pictures than in the configurator! Looks awesome!
  20. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

Stopped by two dealers today to finally check out the Bronco close-up. The first dealer wasnā€™t interested in getting my contact info and said that new orders wouldnā€™t be submitted for at least a year; the second dealer specced out a ā€˜23 to be submitted as soon as the ā€˜23 orders open. Spec is...
