Got her a little dirty on the off road course at the @Diode Dynamics Open house!
Also took a tour of the Diode Dynamics facility and must say, it's one hell of an impressive operation with so much of the engineering and design, manufacturing, research, testing, etc done in house right here in...

Here's the final product after being wrapped in carpet - turned out really nice and keeps the eyes off of the cargo area, especially in roofless situations!
@Ramble_Offroad I was afraid you'd say that. I tried drilling one out today, broke 2 drill bits and busted up my finger.
Need a better solution @Diode Dynamics, because this is likely to happen again when I got to remove these lights when I trade the truck, etc. 🤦♂️
@Ramble_Offroad did you find a solution or get any assistance from @Diode Dynamics with your sheared pivot hardware? I was installing today and had the exact same thing happen on 2 of my 4 SS3s, rendering them useless and unable to be installed in my truck. Same as you, not overtightened, not...
UPDATE:
Had my eye on this exact lighting setup from @Diode Dynamics since before my Bronco was even built or delivered, and was patiently waiting for the Black Friday deals to snag them up.
With Diode's "base" level output, these lights are still putting out a collective 9,200 lumens, which...
Another project started,(not yet finished) but I have been wanting to do this for a while. Needed a shelf for additional storage, and it also functions as privacy/cover so I can leave things in the truck when I have the roof off.
3/4" plywood. I used a cardboard box first to make a template so...

I've been searching the forum and Google for over an hour and can't find this thread!
There was a guy who posted step by step/measurements for a cargo area shelf/privacy cover made out of plywood or MDF and covered in carpet. It sat on top of the bump-outs for the sub/cubby on either side, and...
I took advantage of a quick solo trip to my hometown, and camped in the Bronco next to the pond at my dad's place as opposed to sleeping in his house.
Perfect example to show that if you have everything you need, and organize it well in totes that you can just throw in the truck and go, then...
I was conscious of that as well, as I had cars when I was a kid that looked good but were impossible to see out of. For me, I have no visibility issues with 20% on the front sides and 79% on the windshield. With the aid of 360 cameras and the mirrors, seeing out the rear while reversing in the...
The specific type of gutter guard I purchased has a groove that let's the vent sit on top of the glass when the door opens. I clipped a fan to the roof latch inside the window and it worked great on a cool evening in May. Two would probably be better for hotter nights. Overall well worth the...
My 2.7 has the same characteristics. Very slight vibration/slightly rough idle. I have 11k miles on my truck with no issues, I think it's just the nature of the engine being under load at a low RPM.
