  1. Live in NW Ga and have your Bronco?

Nice Brian! I got frustrated, and bailed on my reservation, because I didn't think we'd ever see them get built. Kinda wishing I'd hung with it now. Will have to be scouring around I suppose, or wait 18 months or so.
  2. Bored? Tired? Over it? Interest waning?

Good points. I'm a Group B person. I'm sorta tired of gimmicks and games (tweet semantics, "Easter Eggs", this or that trim in the wild, photoshop paint swatches, surveys, etc). Add lack of info to the fact that I am wondering if it'll be 15 months before the truck ever shows up, and it just...
  3. More Broncos testing at Silver Lake Sand Dunes

At this stage of the game, what are they "testing"? Theoretically, these vehicles are production-ready, are they not?

Personally, I wish they'd playing games and being proud of themselves and actually deliver the damn thing. Not feeling too confident about this as of now.

@MadMan4BamaNATL BTW - not sure if you saw it, but I was thinking of a Georgia Traverse trip. If folks can't afford 3-4 days to do it, then maybe 3 or 4 day trips to cover most of it over the Fall/Winter.

@MadMan4BamaNATL true on all accounts. For folks just breaking in, group rides would be a great way to get out in the wild a little bit, and see how they like it. I love it.

Generally speaking, CB radios are required equipment for group rides to allow everyone to communicate. Also, a Garmin InReach device is a really good idea to have too, since cell service can be non-existent in many places in the wilderness. There are so many places in the National Forest to...
  8. Granger to GA shipping / GA dealer

@1stGenBronco sorry, not yet. been a busy week, and sort of forgot about it. I'll dig through my emails and find the guy's name and send him something.

Man, that's big news. If the options are invoice with x-plan no matter where you go, then you're looking at $1300 from a cost standpoint, plus the other intangibles that everyone has mentioned. I do wonder tho if these locals will try to do all their adds like nitro, under body coat, tinted...

@GiddyUp options at invoice could be big, especially with the price of these packages. Over MSRP, you're probably looking at about 3k for the base deal, and another 1k on 10k of upgrades. I'm thinking these deals are worth 4k at least.
  12. Bronco Pricing Realities & Toyota Alternatives

If I don't but a Bronco, I would buy a Colorado ZR2, and maybe get the Bison package. I saw a Bison locally last week at invoice, and I almost did it, but I've been waiting for B&P to come out on the Bronco. The Bison has everything off road that the Bronco does, except sway bar disconnect...

I'll try to contact Rome Ford. I get emails from them about every other day for F-150's at 15k off MSRP, and today I got a link to reserve a Bronco.

@GiddyUp yeah, well, they don't have a song about them by Ray Charles, so phhfffft to them

@Jb7 me too brother. the only time i had a new car was when I owned my company, and got a company car. still sort of debating internally whether a new Bronco is the best idea, but we'll see how it prices out.

Yeah I saw that. Curious to hear what their options pricing will be like. For me, IA is 880 miles, while WV is something like 480. Would be a cool drive down from WV too.
  17. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

sales taxes are charged based upon the address you will be registering the vehicle - your home.
  18. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

Correct on both accounts. I'm actually about 10 miles west of there. The nice thing about LakePointe is it brought in a Chick Fil A. We moved up here from FL, where travel ball is 12 months per year. Ugh.
  19. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

Down I-75 from you just a tad, on top a hill near Emerson.

Regarding sales taxes, it's not that hard. When you move here from out of state, you pay an impact fee, which is not a sales tax. When you buy a vehicle, you pay sales taxes in lieu of the impact fee. I bought my Jeep in NC. The dealer there hired a 3rd party to complete and file the...
