Ugh...tow capacity is only 3.5k lbs. I was really hoping that was just a place holder. This is the deciding factor for me unfortunately. I really wanted one, but I need something that can tow more than that. I hope everyone else enjoys building their future toys.
Ford Performance currently sells an engine tune for the Ranger 2.3L. Has gains of 45 HP and 60 lb/ft of torque. I would be very surprised if they don't offer something similar for the Bronco.
2 things:
1.) I think the PDF password is "fordbronco"
2.) Doesn't seem like the 2.7L is available with the 7MT. That's what I was worried about. F***ing Ford...
I think there needs to be an added rule for whenever the word "adventure" is spoken as well. IMO, "adventure", "wild", and "rugged" will be the three most used adjectives tomorrow.
This.
IMO, most people ultimately use their gut over their brain to decide on a vehicle. Manufacturers can try and make logical appeals and arguments as much as they want, but most buyers (including me) will pick the car that makes them feel the best.
I really like the cactus grey, but that sort of "matte grey" look has become pretty common. I see it a lot on Audis, Jeeps, Dodges, and Chryslers. IMO, the novelty of it has worn off a little bit.
Ok, am I the only one who was always wondered why car companies do this in commercials? For example, why is the sentence, "Save $1000 off new Bronco" instead of "Save $1000 off A new Bronco"?
I had to replace the window motor in my '04 G35, and it was a total PITA to get the window back aligned on the track arms.
I'm very much a fan of as much manual options on a vehicle as possible. While electric options may not break as easily, they're definitely way harder and more costly to fix...
I'll most likely be getting the 7MT, but I could see cause for concern with the 10AT. Ford doesn't exactly have the best track record the past 10 years with their automatic transmissions.
