Iām currently running the stock OEM tires with dreams of moving up to 37s and mud tires. I wheel primarily in Missouri (the state I live), and deal with a lot of mud.
I think this isn't stated/known enough. @BROADDICT made a good product based on actual feedback from Bronco owners (a lot of which came from this site), and then they continue to hear, listen, interact with us on this site and actually improve the product based on the feedback.
This is exactly why I haven't had this recall completed yet ... but also, I don't want it to get to the point where I am a danger to others on the road. What should we be looking for that is a shock that can/should be replaced ... not just patched with the "craft time" with Ford fix?
Had some time yesterday while waiting for my wife and confirmed it does indeed come out. It's tight, but it is accessible with some wiggling and maneuvering.
When you install the TrailDeck, you have to remove the carpeted piece that would cover the storage and jack. The TrailDeck slides fully out (which is quite useful for loading/unlading gear). When it is slid fully out, you can access the additional storage/jack.
That would probably help. The sounds I hear are mostly from stuff rattling around within it, so putting the drawer liners in or using the tie downs would probably kill it ... but I rarely don't have my music blaring, so I'm not concerned about the noise at all ... I also have 3 young kids, so if...

Sorry to hear this, MJ. If they won't allow you to upgrade and pay the difference, you could always get the replacement top, and sell it. There still seems to be a market for it due to the backorder/availability. Then use the proceeds to get the top you want. You could even get a soft top off FB...
Iām not sure if youāre referring to him being turtled or that he took it too slow ⦠but yes to both.
Also, weāve all had this thought before but this dude actually did it.
Makes me think when I took a group of Broncos out to an offroad park. We were all hitting this dirt jump at a comfortable...
Thanks @ToothlesstheBronco ... sharing the joy of the adventure with loved ones and friends really is one of the best things about owning a Bronco ....
With that in mind (sorry introverts), I want to see a picture and a story of you sharing the joy of offroading. I'm taking a buddy out...
Thatās my question too. Not that I doubt it happening; but rather, how much of this is the buying the extreme solution for a low risk problem.
My hinges warp ⦠okay ⦠new hinges and a better solution.
my tailgate warp, well thatās a lot bigger of an issue.
So something to keep the tailgate...
I have the Raptor hinges/reinforcement on my Bronco and put one of those tire attached carriers with my recovery gear and rotopax. Itās pretty heavy.
I wheeled with it in Colorado over the summer and was in and out of my tailgate multiple times. When closing it, Iād have to lift slightly for it...
