  1. Need a good 100,000 mile extended warranty suggestion

Like an idiot I passed on the extended warranty I could have purchased for about $1,200 at closing. I'm closing in on my 36k/3 year warranty now. I do not plan on ever selling my Badlands so it's time for a warranty. What are my best options ? Granger ? FORD ? They all seem like they're in...
  2. I've been getting a HOOD AJAR warning

I've just closed out the first year on my Badlands. No major complaints at all so far, but I've been getting the HOOD AJAR warning a couple times the last week or so. Anyone else had this happen ? I've opened, and shut it to make sure it is closed, but it still came back up today.
  3. 4th of July Boulder City Parade

Boulder City, Nevada 4th of July parade. This was the town constructed for the workers, and their families building the Hoover dam.
  4. Extended warranties: Best source Official Ford or third party ?

I should have purchased the extended warranty for about $1,500 when I bought my 2022 in October, but I passed. It's got just under 19K miles currently which is more than I'll typically put on it a year after this year (remote living 3 hours from my home town accounts for the extra miles). I...
  5. Carlisle, Pa. All Ford show yesterday

Very pretty little 3 speed sitting outside the gates.
  6. 6 new Broncos sitting at a Va . Dealership

Passed Richmond (Va.) Ford this am, and saw at least 6 maybe 7 new Broncos on their lot. (804) 358-5521
  7. New Retro Bronco Fender Badge

After a long wait (totally worth it BTW). My new AR Racing retro badges have arrived. Great quality, look to be well crafted, and they have the official 3M adhesive. I moved the Badlands badges to the rear quarters. I opted for the black, and blue option to compliment the black body trim, and...
  8. New 2 door rock slider attached steps installed.

Bought a set of IAG steps for the Bronco. They attach directly to the rock rail for a perfect fit. My concern with the bolt connection was it would crack the finish on the slider. I installed a couple pieces of gasket material against the rock rail, and a stainless steel fender washer...
  9. Redline hood struts installed

Doesn’t take long, but it’s a tight fit inside the fender area against the hood bracket and bolt connection. Dropped the wrench into the fender wall, but luckily unscrewing a few connectors at the plastic wheel liner allowed it to drop right out to the ground. If not for that mishap it would...
  10. HELP !! Socket wrench dropped into driver fender (hood strut installation)

As the title states, I was installing Redline hood struts, and dropped the wrench into the driver side fender wall and wheel well. It’s a tight fit working under the hood there, and it slipped out of my hand. There is a gap between the actual fender and firewall behind the plastic fender...
  11. Summer's almost here. I'm looking for seat cover options to keep my *ss cool(er)

As the title suggests, with Summer fast approaching I'd like to cover the MGV seats with a cloth option seat cover that will help keep sweating down. I'm thinking some type of microfiber solution, but I want something that's really form fitting, and doesn't look like a bag just draped over the...
  12. Thinking about a Ram Air hood modification

I've always liked a hood scoop on a vehicle. The Bronco is a great platform for that hood modification. Anyone have experience with Advanced Fiberglass Concepts parts ?? Quality, fitment, and just as important......durability ?
  13. I was listening to Low Rider this morning......

......and it got me to wondering, when do one of the CA. Bronco owners low ride, and underlight their rig ? I wanna see that build blog.
  14. Unfinished edges on the MIC

I was taking the MIC off the Bronco for the first time this season, and was paying attention to the overall condition, and details of the top sections. it looks to me like the perimeter edges are raw and in there’s no finish on them at all. I’m just wondering if others think that’s a place...
  15. FOOT PEDAL DESIGN FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS

I've seen the ICON billet, alum foot pedals for a 2021 Bronco. Are the design specs the same for a 2021 as for a 2022 ? I Dig the billet design, and wanna pull the trigger, but ICON states they have a no return policy on parts. Strange, and not even sure how that's legal. I don't want to...
  16. Potential speaker upgrades

A good sound system is important in a convertible type vehicle. I'm ready to upgrade the OEM set-up in my Badlands. I don't need to be blowing ear drums, but when I want to crank some volume, I want clean sound. There are (2) 4" tweeters, (2) 6 1/2" kick panel speakers, and (2) rear area 4"...
  17. Stock rock rail mounted steps

I’m looking at the IAG rock real Mountain steps for my two door BRONCO. The connection is obviously hooked piece of steel with a piece of neoprene rubber as a buffer between rock rail and the steel saddle. A bolt is just tightened up against the rock rail Anybody else agree as you tighten...
  18. Fgotogo yay or nay ….

Anyone used Fgotogo Bronco products ? Quality stuff or pass ? I’m looking at their dash phone mount (it looks a little bulky, but offers multiple positions across the mounting bar) door sill protector covers (I like the length, width, and that they fold down over the edge of the sill) and...
  19. Uncle Willy

I know this is a Bronco site, but you don't get the Bronco without this guy here.
