They fit perfectly and there is really no rub at all at full lock. If you go for 315 or 35-I highly recommend the 3/8 spacer from bora. No trimming of studs with the 3/8 which is great.
I just installed. Everything hooked up perfectly and it looks like it came straight from the factory. Also comes with a trim tool which is very nice. We’ll see if I get the dreaded blue and red flashing issue, but my hope is that I will not. One thing I’ll call out. Everything reads like the...
The fitment looks great. Can these be wired to the AUX switches. Additionally, is it possible to wire to different aux switches so you have the choice to run amber or white? If so, how does that work with the sequential turn signal(or does it remove that functionality)? @Mabett any thoughts here?
Any chance you'd ship the end caps(i'd obviously pay shipping)? Just put on SAS flares on my black diamond and the end caps that are on the SAS are different and really difficult to find!
Yes. Have to take off the crash bars. 315’s do rub on the upper control arm at full lock. The 3/8” spacer from Bora is perfect for the steelies and pushes the tire away from the UCA just enough that it eliminates all rub.
2” lift from factory(I think it’s RC), 315,70,17 KO2’s and Bora 3/8” spacer (to relieve rubbing at full lock). Love that I was able to keep the steelies. Parking next to the Sasquatch it may even sit a bit higher.
Kind of a crazy question- but could it be hitting the steel bash plates? Im sure they had rock crawling in mind when they advertised "protection from rocks, stumps and other trail obstacles"- not gravel from a parking lot. 😂
I've got a BD with 35 inch KO2's with at 3/8's spacer(originally was rubbing on UCA after tire install) and my entire tread is still within the fender well. I was just looking for additional threads on this. I have to park in a gravel lot daily, and that ping I hear, every day, kills me. I...
I was told by Bora that these, due to their shape, should work. Only concern that was highlighted by another member is not getting a full 7 turns on the lugs in the front. I have these on order, I'll keep you posted if they work. Orion, what setup are you running? Looks like you've still got...
I also have the standard lights on my Black Diamond- but my DRL are the LED's in the headlight housing. Are you saying you've found a way to basically have your parking lights set as DRL? Is there some sort of setting that I am not seeing?
On a separate note- because I haven't figured this...
Has anyone hooked up their parking lights to be enabled by the OEM Aux Switch on the Black Diamond? I'd think it is pretty simple to do, just wondering if it is possible and if anyone has done it. I obviously want to keep my headlights on Automatic, but would love to be able to turn on the...
Anyone tried the bora .375 on the BD steelies? I put 35’s with 2 inch lift and now I’m rubbing the UCA. Hoping a small spacer will alleviate the rub on full lock.
@gaurdian1fox2 What size spacers are you running? I’ve got the look I want with 315/70/17 KO2 and A 2 inch lift, but the problem is I rub at full lock. I don’t really want to put spacers on, but I hate that I have any rub whatsoever.
I've asked this in another thread but dropping here. At delivery I had the dealer install 315/70/17 KO2's and 2inch spacer lift on my BD with the original steelie wheels. It looks awesome, however, I am rubbing the UCA at full lock(just barely). Does anyone know the minimum spacer necessary...
The weights are on every Black Diamond with Steelies- not sure if it is functional or not, may just be aesthetic for the steelie wheel to make it look more classic.
RC 2” lift with 315/70/r17 KO2s on my Black Diamond stock Steelies. Love the look, but experiencing some rubbing at full lock. Anyone have any suggestions for this? What’s the minimum spacer I’d need?
