Thanks for the reply! Yea, I’ve read that an Amp is needed if you want to replace the kick panel speakers with aftermarket to get their full potential. Just wanted to see if you had experienced anything different.
Mod: Sound deadening for the Front Seats
Before:
After:
Finished up the sound deadening on the floor, mainly the front seat area, following the same process in my previous post.
A few notes:
Did I go overboard and do way too much? Probably.
As others have said on the forum, you...
Sounds good, I ordered a lot of the 93085K556 so I should have more than enough.
I didn't think of adding anything to the tailgate though, that's a great idea! I'll make sure to try that out. Thanks!
Hey, so I’m in the process of taking out my vinyl flooring and I see that it loops around some support structure behind the center console, so it’s all one big piece.
Was yours like this? How did you remove it?
seen some people who cut their carpet so that they could take it out but I’m...
ADV posted this on their instagram a while back since their fenders were used, but the main build was done by black bridge motors. Not sure how much it costs, but it looks expensive (interior pictures starte from the third image/slide).
They didn't do the door panels but they did pretty much...
Thanks for the response! I'll use 93058K556 then. I actually have some that I ordered for some of the hard top wind noise reduction stuff. There should be a little left over for a test bit (I initially only ordered 10 feet). I'll try to get to that sometime in the next week and see how it works...
This is great, thanks for the pictures! Do you plan to change each door to have the same/best stripping?
And for someone who will do this hopefully in the near future, would you recommend 93085K556 over 93085K393?
I agree with you that 93085K393 has a better look and since I already have put...
Makes sense. I might go back and look at doing that as well, since I'm going to be doing the front of my 2-door once it warms up a bit more of here in Illinois. Thanks!
I did my rear a while back but never thought to do the little storage cubby thing. I used Kilmat 80 mil and Siless Heat Insulation Foam on top of it, so idk if theres a big difference between what I used and the Siless 3-in-1.
Do you think there will be any issues with it being exposed to the...
I haven’t been able to buy any yet either.
But, now I’m currently weighing the pros and cons of getting Katzkin’s so I can get heating and cooling seats (and doing the dash and other pieces with that) or just wrapping the other pieces with MGV. Mainly since I can’t do cooked seats with MGV. So...
Ok, sounds good. So, I should just ask them to check for DDM and PDM updates for the door/window mechanism? Or, is there a specific name for the window up-down thing
Sorry, I'm not entirely smart when it comes to this stuff so I don't know what to actually call it. Thank you for the help!
I'm starting to look at different catback exhausts for my 2022 manual transmission Bronco. I mainly want the following out of an exhaust:
no drone
a dual tip exhaust for the looks (I know that dual tips aren't good for off-roading, but 90% of the time I'm on some light dirt trails so that I can...
Depending on what alternative storage methods they come up with for the targa piece on the four door. If it something pretty cool and out of the box that saves space, I'd be fine with a 2 piece tbh.
