At this point a 2024 order may be tempting depending on the new options/colors. Between price protection and a likely price increase for 2024 I would be giving up some $ though.
The dealer did not specify a date other than Q4, and included a link to the following article:

Ok - backing off the politics a bit knowing that the posters on here skew more conservative. Nothing wrong with that btw. My bronco was delivered to the dealer last week and falls under the recall. The dealer confirmed they will be holding the vehicle until the fix in Q4.
Lexus could ask for $80k for a mid-tier GX, but they will sell far more if the price is under $70k, so probably more overall profit with the lower pricing. I would guess a mid-tier new Land Cruiser will be around $60k, and mid-tier new 4runner will probably be around $50k.
I'll wait for the Land Cruiser - should be ~$10k less. I don't need the fancy interior and there are several Toyota dealerships nearby that always sell at MSRP.
Recap on my past status - Blend date 4/26 - original forecasted delivery date was first week of June, switched to built status in the tracker on 6/5.
Latest update per Ford Chat - awaiting shipment, delivery date 7/9-7/15. I have a pretty basic build - OBX with just the MIC and High package...
Looks great and happy they kept the Nori Green. Not into every generation getting bigger and bigger - this GX is about 6 inches longer than the bronco and wider as well. Unless you need a 3rd row, this is bigger than needed for an "offroad" SUV.
Non-story here - Bronco is selling over 100k a year - that sounds pretty good! Doubtful it will ever approach Jeep Wrangler territory - probably settle in at between 100-125k a year for the next 5 years.
Not sure what the tax situation is in Virginia, but here in California I pay 10.25% sales tax plus about $600 in registration fees for a new car. I do not get any tax credit at trade in. If I bought my Bronco at MSRP (without financing) and sold it 6 months later for MSRP, I would be looking...
Blend date 4/26. Still "In Production" on tracker but received an ETA of June 1-9 in California. Dealer did confirm $2700 in retail price protection, but I don't get the money until Ford sends them payment. The dealer (Serramonte) gets good reviews on this forum so not too worried about it.
I hope to keep the Bronco for 10 years. The most likely scenario in which I would have to sell it early is if I change jobs and have to start commuting a lot. I usually WFH, but if I had to commute 50 miles each way then I would probably trade it in for something else. Although I suppose I...
