Well said. My E36 M3 track car is around 2700-2800lbs. Uhaul trailer puts me over the limit. I take my car to the track only 3-4 times a year and its a bummer to not be able to have Bronco do what a 4runner and many others easily can.
My thoughts on this:
My F80 M3 is not a track car. It can do ok on track but that is not a purpose build track car. Therefore, I have a dedicated purpose built e36 M3 not road legal for that reason.
In my opinion, Bronco is not a dedicated offroad vehicle. Dedicated will be towed to the trail...
I hope you are right. On my E70 X5 it was the same story - I installed an aftermarket Curt hitch and the car was prewired for the hitch harness. What worried me a bit is that Base did not even have Towing Package as an option. Can ford really leave out the wiring for one model? Or standard...
Thank you for your input. Makes total sense.
I sure think it shouldnt be too hard to add a hitch later on like I did on my X5.
3500 rating being fixed would be a bit of a let down. Especially since 4runners are capable of 5000lbs. I will have to get creating with my 2700lbs track car +...
That would be outstanding for me. I need to tow around 4000lbs few times a year - track car on trailer. I do know some Jeep owners that tow 4000lbs 3-4 times a year without issues though.
I have a question on Towing:
It does state that Base model does not have an optional "Towing package". Is there something fundamentally different in the frame/body to other models or does it simply mean that the "tow hitch" itself is an option that you cant choose for Base right of the bat?
If...
Im not sure I am following you. Do you mean that the Towing Package hitch will be bolted to the frame? And is this configuration that is taking it to 3500lbs tow max capacity? Or do they currently have hitches on that are rated to 3500 and the Towing Package will take it further? I am just...

Looks good to me. That topic is always important - I am 6'5". Head room is an issue in many cars especially with sunroofs. Tough to judge the headroom on those pics not knowing how the seat is setup.
True, that excluded me from ordering. I will not be able to tow my track car which is a huge bummer. Everything else looks exciting. But I will have to be out
