Mine seems to be getting worse. Yesterday i went all day without the problem. I think disabling the auto stsrt/stop might have helped. Ill try again today.

Took about two weeks to get the transmission and two days to install.

I agree this can be done with washers but if going that route, I’d get the longer screws at a good auto parts store. I believe they are hardened steel. Also, the shims accommodate the index pins if that matters.

Another nod for the seat jackers. Just installed mine and the seat is so much better positioned now. I went with the expensive shims because they come with longer bolts.

I assume it misbehaved or threw a code for the tech.

Update: Ford is installing a new transmission after the tsb didn’t solve the issue.

It also does this while playing audio from a USB memory stick. I phone was not even connected.

My audio would change input’s randomly. I did a system reset and that fixed it. Hold the radio power and fast forward together for 10 seconds.

My bronco was doing the same thing. My dealer performed the tsb you posted. Since then it has been running fine but yesterday it got stuck in 3rd. This was also illuminated on the dash. Let us know if you make any progress.

My salesman told me the fake sounds come on when in sport mode. I wonder if it’s only part of the B&O system ?
