Hey, @Johnny Rebel solved this issue with his Yaesu in a very sleek way. I can't find the pix/thread but hoping he might chime in. From our conversation, he wrote, "Lido LM-AD1 Display Head Adapter Kit for the FTM-400 control head from GigaParts that has a mini ball mount on it. I had an old...
Look at the big brain on Brad! The remote in question is a cheaply made, stick on piece of crap that could have been far better engineered. "Adhesives used all over the..." blah blah blah notwithstanding. Over-think much?
What possible correlation is there between moldings and the remote door opener? Any yes, to answer your question, I know where sticky tape is used.
The factory remote is cheaply made and held on by stick tape, I'm sorry if that offends you. I was answering his question not seeking advice on...

It's a tray, not an enclosure of any kind. It also doesn't cover the entire cargo opening. Definitely not meant to be a security device. It's a solid and versatile cargo tray.
Yes sir. The 4 round ones are your parking sensors only (front and rear bumper). ACC is separate, under the front bumper, center. You're getting just a little interference there I'd bet. See if you can raise that plate up. Good luck.
