  3. Mounting Near AUX Switches

Yea, I'm going the same route. Hid the GMRS behind the glove box and putting the 400 where Johnny did... keep us posted!
  4. Mounting Near AUX Switches

Hey, @Johnny Rebel solved this issue with his Yaesu in a very sleek way. I can't find the pix/thread but hoping he might chime in. From our conversation, he wrote, "Lido LM-AD1 Display Head Adapter Kit for the FTM-400 control head from GigaParts that has a mini ball mount on it. I had an old...
  5. Entry keypad - wireless? adhered with double sided tape?

Look at the big brain on Brad! The remote in question is a cheaply made, stick on piece of crap that could have been far better engineered. "Adhesives used all over the..." blah blah blah notwithstanding. Over-think much?
  6. Entry keypad - wireless? adhered with double sided tape?

What possible correlation is there between moldings and the remote door opener? Any yes, to answer your question, I know where sticky tape is used. The factory remote is cheaply made and held on by stick tape, I'm sorry if that offends you. I was answering his question not seeking advice on...
  7. Entry keypad - wireless? adhered with double sided tape?

He's right. It's wireless, stick-on crap. Nothing like what's built into the pillars for the F-series trucks. Some guys are removing them and painting to match. Others are moving them elsewhere on the Horse. It's modicum of convenience only slightly outweighs the cheap construction and sticky...
  8. Lightweight rooftop tent RTT by Inspired Overland -- review & photos

I understand completely! Beside, he wouldn't enjoy the shipping part. Seriously, he looks like a great dog! If only our kids were as well behaved and disciplined as our dogs...
  9. Beadlock ring swap on Cactus Grey

Funny how that is. I had the silver on my Badlands and really didn't like it. Black (like yours) on the Wildtrak and I won't switch. I love the 'blacked out' look. Seeing it now, it's really a stunning change. Well done!
  10. Ford Cargo Drawer Install DIY - writeup & photos

The tie downs reinstalled with little trouble. I would use an electric driver but there is nothing hard about getting them reinstalled. No need to spend more money on new bolts. They are really tie downs so I'd go easy on the ratcheting. As for the space on the sides, it's great for a couple...
  11. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

Yes, less the thickness of the shelf.
  12. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

I wouldn't agree. It may be a deterrent, but if they can get to your case, they can flip the tray up vertically and pull the case right out.
  13. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

When it's flipped up, it's vertical and almost in line with the rear of the back seat. You would recover all but an 1" or so of your cargo area.
  14. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

It's a tray, not an enclosure of any kind. It also doesn't cover the entire cargo opening. Definitely not meant to be a security device. It's a solid and versatile cargo tray.
  15. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

The tray and supports are $367.28. Not sure what else you're adding to get to $1K?
  16. JCR Offroad Winch Plate/License Plate Bracket/Camera Relo/Zeon 10S Install & Photos

Yes sir. The 4 round ones are your parking sensors only (front and rear bumper). ACC is separate, under the front bumper, center. You're getting just a little interference there I'd bet. See if you can raise that plate up. Good luck.
