As the title says, I recently discovered my windows won’t drop with a long-press of the remotes unlock button. Maybe after an update? Anyone else notice this?

So out nowhere, my clock (set to auto) jumped ahead four hours. I did absolutely nothing to the setting, no dead battery issues. I’ve noticed it’s now set to GMT time (of which I’m not in) unsure how this happened. Any ideas? Thanks I’m thinking maybe an auto update? If that’s the case...

Exactly this happened to me! Trying to get on a highway from a stop. That split second delay nearly got me killed!

Fair enough, but I’d STILL prefer to burn an extra 2cents worth of gas rather than replace a starter- even if they’re built “better” these days. Personal preference I suppose.

True however these vehicles haven’t been around that long. Logic dictates the more frequently something is used, the faster it will wear out.

Why? Because it’s annoying, useless and prematurely beats up your starter and battery That’s why.

Knock on wood, I’ve never had a single drop of water leak and I’ve taken the front tops off dozens of times, so I guess I’ll consider myself fortunate and keep truck’n until I replace it with a soft top someday.
