$100 is not all that bad actually.
I purchased that complete kit a while back as a place-holder until my JL Stealthbox arrived. After the panel was removed, it literally took 5 minutes to install the sub, amp, and harness.
I'm surprised Enfig is selling the harness as a stand-alone part...
A simple flip of the EQ dip switch is the correct way to disable the applied EQ settings following auto-tune. Using the mic to toggle reverts back to factory, reduces output, removes speaker time delay / alignment, etc.
IMO, bad suggestion. You're definitely in the minority on this one.
KO2 37's on wheels that weigh 19.5lbs each, so my set-up is lighter than the OEM wheels and tires. No loss in mileage or acceleration, plus negates need for tailgate reinforcement.
They are super light, super quiet, super durable, super comfortable, and IMO, still the best all-around AT...
I traded in an Everglades for a Wildtrak back in October when they were still holding value, but I owned the Everglades outright. The dealership gave me $55K for it, and I paid cash for the difference towards the Wildtrak.
I wouldn't do that in today's market, though.
Installing a coaxial speaker into the kick panels is pointless. I'm almost certain that the signal going to that location is specific to a woofer. Even under amplification, coaxial speakers are inaudible.
That said, without an amplifier, you'd be amazed with what a tweeter / woofer component...
Hoel Wiring sold the harness with integrated power and ground connections from the beginning.
PnP Kits should have shipped those out to customers for free.
I applied Dynamat on the interior of mine, and would recommend doing so. Even if you're not getting significant midbass from the speakers, it improves acoustics.
