Following up on this. Actually with the engine running the situation is much better! In my drives so far, both blinkers are blinking at a normal rate when the engine is running. So this is actually an improved situation from when I only had the aftermarket taillights! Yes it still reliably quick...

I have the 2.3 performance tune as well, and wanted to try changing back to stock. I am also getting an error when attempting to flash back to stock "ECU read not valid". Was this the error you had? Were you able to fix it?

The factory LED taillights have two separate wires to activate turn signal or brake light.

Glad it worked for you! I'm jealous, since my base didn't come with LEDs, it doesn't have the extra wire to separate turn and stop. So I have to live with the slight delay (that or live without the amber turn signals). I guess I rather die pretty
I don't know for sure, but my hypothesis is if you change back the forscan settings back to how they were, and change the dipswitch on the taillights from Halogen to LED, it'll get rid of the delay
Do you have the issue where when you hit the brake pedal, the 3rd brake light comes on immediately, and then the taillights come on like half a second later?
Yep, this is what the engineer on Archaic's side basically said. Because of the halogen sharing turn and stop on the same line, the delay is because it is trying to determine whether brakes or a turn is being asked for.
