very nice. Alternatively, if someone wants to save some time, I simply purchased a 3 pack of stick on wireless motion sensor lights from Amazon. Used one in my closet, one in my gun cabinet and of course- the whole reason I bought it- one for my Bronco glove box.
4 used Broncos where I bought mine- 2 OBX and a BD all 64-65k CAD$ which is higher than what I paid for my new Badlands. And a 2022 Big Bend for 59k. I believe our inflation/cost of living is higher than usa- relatively- and Canadians just generally don't have the disposable income. Alot of guys...
Some might recognize me complaining about this on a couple of other forums
Quick summary:
Rather enjoyed my Bronco early October 2022- started receiving intermittently dead infotainment screen. Mainly in the mornings on the way to work- be fine on the way home. By late October it was totally...
One guy on insta did a beautiful art render of what the Chevy Blazer should have looked like. It's too bad that someone at Chevy signed off on basically 4-5 identical Crossovers, and 3 identical large SUVs for their entire lineup.
Man, I hate my rough country table š as soon as I assembled it- set my drill on it in satisfaction and those eyelet cables pulled out of the eyelets lol
Huge regrets. Been driving around with a dead screen in this vehicle for 1/3 of the time Iāve owned it and Ford Canada doesnāt know itās the APIM/how to fix it. First and last Ford.
Donāt forget black screen of death I.e none of your features work. I have owned my Bronco for 1 year/9000 miles- my infotainment screen has been totally non-functional for 1/4 of that time/mileage- and the best part is Ford Canada doesnāt know how to fix it š first and last Ford. Absolute junk.
It definitely WAS my 21' Badlands, when it functioned as it should. It only has 9000 miles, and it's had a black screen of death for 1/4 of those miles, that Ford Canada apparently doesn't know how to fix. So, for me, any car with a radio. Specifically my 91' Beretta GT, as it turns just as many...
It is getting to be disheartening. Basically for 25% of the life of my vehicle now, Iāve been driving in silence with a black screen and unable to use any of these cameras, or other features Iām paying for. And, Ford Canada does not know how to fix it- even though Iāve clearly read a million...
Not that Iām interested in a 4Runner, but on your one point- āarchaic infotainment systemā- my badlands has had a black screen of death for 3 months and counting out of the 1 year Iāve owned it š®āšØ Iād take archaic over completely non-functional at this point š
Very easy. 8 or 9 push clips and like 4 bolts- all easily accessible with the hood open. Thereās also a windshield washer line to disconnect and (optional) front camera disconnect- both located near the air box. Lots of YouTube videos if you need to see it too.
So, like other forums I have seen on here, I got the black screen of death- started intermittently around 8500miles, and has been consistently non-functional since 9000 miles. It took a month to get an appointment at a dealer (and that was quicker, than my actual dealership where I purchased)...
