I ended up with a pretty basic manual Black Diamond, even though I thought I’d be in a Badlands after that preview event. I’m happy to leave it as is and just enjoy it. Steel wheels and all ;) And I just love the vinyl seats! Gotta be the most comfortable seat my ass has found. Not kidding...
Oh wow! I didn’t know you were on the forums, Greg! Been a fan of yours since you teamed up with ford just before the Raptor launch, and it inspired me to grab up one of the first Raptors in Colorado at the time.
Anyways, after seeing how well your fabrication and work held up on the Baja...
That’s the next house, as I won’t play this whole subdivision game ever again and am planning on a barndo on 8-10 acres out west. That’s at least 8-9 years out though
The Bronco is pretty damn slow for sure, haha! But I love this slug box so much! BUT!! when comparing the manual Bronco vs the other manual off-roader options, it’s actually tons more spirited (which is sad!) But I didn’t expect much out of her. I just wanted it’s rugged go anywhere abilities...
Slow is definitely a personal seat of the pants statement.
as for the sound, I’ll say it’s wicked noises between shifts is top notch, but when it comes to engine sound. Nah! Ferrari all day. I haven’t experienced the new Z06, but I’m sure that’ll be epic all around and likely answers your...
As an owner of a C8, I will debunk the claim that it’s slow as Shit after 60, and it absolutely does not sound better than a Ferrari ripping though gears.
It pulls pretty hard well past a 1/4 mile finish line, but that’s where a Supercherged V8 will likely start dominance. But slow as shit...
I’m an avid manual trans enthusiast and I actually feel like it would be a step back on the C8, considering just how good the automated manual is in it. It truly is that good. It literally rips through the gears and even sounds like a manual engaging in first gear
I don’t have a crystal ball, but for what that car is Vs just about anything out there that’s not labeled a HyperCar, it’s a steal and I don’t see attractive sub $80-90K pricing in the used market for at least 4 years.
Not entirely! But I ordered one last October and then was able to get a build date and then build completed in 9 weeks from there. It was an MSRP dealer in Paris KY. But that MSRP deal is ordered units only. They are $7-10K over on anything ordered that doesn’t go to the original purchaser or...
The simplicity yet tough demeanor that can handle daily driving and fun weekending at the same time. The Black Diamond seats are also some of the most amazingly comfortable seats my a$$ has ever met
Well, I told my builder a bit over 2 years ago that my big purchases are complete once I can secure a C8 and a Bronco in the garage. The stars aligned on ordering the C8 and locating the perfect Bronco shortly after delivery of the Vette. Needless to say, I have to pinch myself to ensure this...
