Same here. I leave the top off the bronco so the MB only gets driven if the weather is bad. But even then, I usually will take my wife’s car so I don’t get mine dirty lol.
Was actually thinking of trading the GLS for a GLE or something more sporty or getting another Raptor. But I love driving...
I tried a similar one from Northern tool and they worked fine . I couldn’t come up with a good way to get them to the length I wanted without extra stuff which is why I returned them.
I wonder if a lag like this would work?

I have attic right above that area so I just added a piece of metal strut over the joists and mounted the joist to that then screwed the strut down to keep it from moving. Drilled a 3” hole through the drywall for the cable to go through.
The top for the 4 door is perfectly balanced when using just the rear connection points.
I lift and lower it with just the 2 points.
When I’m storing it , I use tie downs and some metal strut hooked to points on the ceiling and lower it on to that. You can also lay the other top pieces on the...
It’s a dash cam with forward and rear facing cameras.
it has LTE so if you subscribe ($60/year), you can view in the app any time.
Being Ring, it also functions much like their doorbells and cameras with motion alerts, etc.
I leave my top off all the time and while I don’t leave anything in...
I don’t leave anything of value in mine when the top is off.
I also just added the ring dash cam and it’s pretty cool. Will alert almost instantly if there is any motion.
I had a similar idea but I have cabinets on my back wall and cabinets or shelves on all the other walls which pushed me to ceiling storage.
I got home early today so decided to play around with some unistrut for more support instead of just having tie downs wrapped under and against the top...
Nobody really knows for sure. They are re-enforced and "designed" for the roof racks. The roof racks are rated for something like 300lbs so I don't think lifting 68lbs (34lbs split across the 2 sides) is going to be much of an issue.
I'd love to see how the factory handles installing the tops.
Yes but hard to say how much so.
Look at the efficiency rating of the speakers you are considering. The higher the efficiency, the louder they will play at the same volume compared to lower efficiency speakers.
