Why are people assuming that your insurance company will have issue with utilizing the OEM-offered software to turn off a user-setting? To this end, if you fall into a ditch with traction control turned off, do you think they’ll say you’re SOL? It’s not even as bad as breaking a law (e.g. not...
I agree - that’s why my follow-up question to the “we only accept in-house financing” was, “that’s odd. Are you saying that you would not accept a cashier’s check?” They said no they would not accept a cashiers check from a credit union.
After waiting over a year like most people have, it’s...
Are you certain that’s true? So after 14 months my Bronco is scheduled for delivery in 2 weeks. My CU rate is currently 5.24. So I wrote to the dealer today and asked what their current rate is - basically so I’d have time to get to my CU before the vehicle arrives.
They replied that they ONLY...
Just to clarify a common theme in these responses vs my personal intention, I wasn’t trying to imply that I’m actually buying the Bronco as an investment. I’m buying the Bronco because I wanted a 4 seater convertible in a stick. And I thought this would double as a great beach vehicle. The only...
touche… It probably is true that $25k on the market would do better than a car. For me, it wasn’t my only motivation… just for a few extra checkboxes
A Gen1 iPhone, unsupported tech, is likely to fetch $50k

True, but for example, history in classic autos definitely favors 2 doors. Obviously that can change over time but we only can see the past to predict the future.
Not a 4d hater at all. I’d have one if it were my DD. Just saying 2D might retain more value in 20-30 yrs., as will SAS
Just replied to a “why would you buy SAS for a BL” thread and my answer is a bit unusual. I checked nearly all options with my 2D BL MAN SAS LUX TOW, sans leather and auto. Aside from wanting the features myself, I figured this would be more desirable for resale in the future. Akin to checking...
My 2D BL SAS manual was supposedly built last week. So yeah, I was one that got ripped off and paid the $4k with a manual. But I did it for a reason that I’ve yet to read in one of these threads (tunagates maybe implied earlier). My reason was resale, and to some extent rarity.
My 2D will not...
They emailed me 4 times total and I didn’t sign up for any special alerts, etc… 1) initial scheduling 2) bumped forward 1 week 3) bumped forward 1 week. 4) bumped backwards 1 week.
The emails 1-4 all came within the first 3 weeks. I haven’t had any updates for about 6 weeks now (I guess no news...
Like others, haven’t posted until now while awaiting scheduling.
I actually got the email on 12/1 for a 1/23 build. There just wasn’t such an active thread to talk about it at the time! Rescheduled three times but 3rd reschedule moved it backwards a week, landing on 1/30.

@EIGHTLUG, please send the code - new to the forum (long time lurker) but just received my build date and would like to get in queue for the Magnum
Did you ever develop a tag solution for the modular bumper with push bar?
