My favorite is Saber (https://saberoffroad.com/product/saberpro-double-braided-30m-winch-rope/). That's in AUD, so more like $225 US. All of their recovery gear is great.
At some point I'll probably also try the freedom winch line as suggested above.
As far as securing it to the drum, I...
Ha, all good. Yeah I actually have the manual but "door window glass adhesive covers" doesn't exactly mean anything to google : )
They aren't just stickers - they are like a weatherproof stretchy felt material.
So if a dealer service department is doing this job and needs to replace them...
So many good options. I was all set to use the weatherproof tape, but now I'm gonna start getting targeted ads for pasties.
I just like to put things back the way they were, helps me sleep better. I figured they have to come from somewhere, but apparently they do not.
I'm changing out the glass in one of my doors.
Let's say I potentially damage one of the green weather-sealing stickers. Anyone know what they are called or have a part number?
Searching the webs for any combination of green\door\weather\sticker isn't working out so hot for me.
Yeah I got lucky, I like what I like so I wanted an exact replacement. There happened to be two available nationwide at the time, and one was 2 hours from me. Badlands\Manual\Lux\Tow\Black. Only difference is this one has leather and my previous had MGV. I have to say the leather is so nice...
I mourned for quite a while. I even strapped up the airbags and drove it for a couple weeks in denial before finally getting it up on the jacks to strip everything back off before turning it over to insurance.
Mine was totaled. Insurance fully covered it. I found a pretty much identical replacement, and it didn't cost me anything out of pocket. For some reason that I'm not going to question my premiums didn't change.
Yeah all the rollbar bags and bags in the front seats popped. They did their job though, my passenger stated it was like rolling over onto a pillow. No injuries, so all good in my book.
I used this so that when I need to pull the skid plate (which the winch is mounted to) it's easy to get it out of the way.

There is a small bracket in front of the battery that worked perfectly, and also put all the cables within reach of the battery studs. I'm not near mine currently but I'll grab a picture when I can.
