The instrument panel designer called in sick that day. So, they had the two women who designed the interiors do the gauge cluster. The Gen X one added the analog speedo. The Millennial one added the digital stuff. Neither was familiar with oil pressure gauges.
I'm in the process of converting to Raptor fogs. I bought a set on ebay for $150 and bought the upgraded Ford Performance/Rigid fogs and Raptor bumper ends. The total is about the cost of a nice aftermarket set but with the factory look and reliability. I'll sell the Mabetts with the...
Check out the restoration suppliers, like CJ Pony Parts, Dennis Carpenter, etc. They are available. And I would look at that option over spending hundreds on billet. This is $40.
I'm looking for the lights/housings and the rear covers. I don't care if they include the front lens covers.
Will pay for shipping from wherever or drive a reasonable distance.
Thanks
That's what you think. My other cars are a 72 Chevelle and a DD Subaru with no "connectivity." And I don't carry a cell phone. Some of us still value our privacy. Others never read Orwell.
I get that some people love their cell phones so much they want to drive one. But you shouldn't bash people who think it's a terrible idea for privacy, convenience, safety, etc. Good luck to you when your Bronco gets bricked by an OTA update and you're stranded somewhere.
When internet-connected vehicles fail, like cell phones did last week, I'll be able to hop in one of my unconnected cars and drive anywhere. I'm not a fan, at all, of cars that depend on internet connection and "updates." Seems like EV is another step in that direction.
I finally got around to replacing the latch today.
Pretty simple: Remove grille, flares, painted trim above the bumper, and headlights, and remove the bolts holding the upper grille shutters so it could be pulled forward for access to the latch and wiring.
I taped around my old latch...
At least it will catch the reservoir like a baseball glove the next time one rusts/falls off. Not sure what you would do with it, but at least it's less likely to become a road hazard.
You can't even trust tire places to install lug nuts properly. I've spent hundreds of dollars getting studs replaced because the tire shops destroy them. I ruined my back for a month changing a tire on the side of the road due to improperly installed lug nuts. If I had a lift, my cars would...
